Marta Kostyuk vs Jessica Pegula Tips

Pegula holds a 3-1 head-to-head lead, and all of their matches have been on hard court. They played in the round of 16 of the Miami Open in March of this year, their last head-to-head match, with Pegula winning 6-2, 6-3. It could also be a more evenly matched match, given the Ukrainian's recent results, but Pegula is a determined player and should find a way to win again today.

Although Pegula is the higher-rated of these two players, it is hard to see too much between them. Marta is in great form right now and can get back from the straight-sets defeat in Miami in March. She did win the meeting last year against Pegula.

Despite the latest three meetings between the two ending in straight sets wins, I see this being a much closer game. The Ukrainian barely broke a sweat last round and can take this in three sets.
