John Higgins v Mark Davis Tips

While Higgins is expected to control the match from the outset, Davis is a wily veteran who knows how to grind out a frame. It is highly likely that he will capitalize on a single Higgins error to win a frame, preventing a clean sweep. However, Higgins's all-around game should be too strong to let the match get close.

These two met in February in a best of nine and Higgins won by four frames. At the English Open in 2023 these two players met in a best of seven and Higgins won without dropping a frame.

John Higgins has definitely been more consistent. However, he has struggled against some worse players and could lose a frame early. This definitely could pressure him into those regular errors.
