Bounced back to form on his most recent start when finishing a creditable 1L 4th of 7 to 'The Lost King' at Kempton (7f) on the AW in a Class 2 handicap earlier this month, and looks worth siding with off the same mark returning to this surface.

This horse looks a much more appealing prospect, upped in distance and down in grade. The booking of stable stalwart Daniel Muscutt is a telling pointer, and I expect to see this horse challenge to win this, having dropped a good few pounds in the handicap. His last race will have sharpened him up after an absence.

Now freshened after a short break, Gallant (33/1) looks primed to improve. Effective at this distance and stripped of his hood, he's a big priced contender capable of outrunning his odds.
