Another small field. Strictly speaking PETE'S DIAMOND has a bit to find and will need to improve, but the yard have been ticking over nicely of late. Got a bad trip last time at Southwell in a first-time visor on handicap debut. Visor dispensed with tomorrow and is stepping up markedly in trip. On breeding, I would not be hugely surprised if he showed improvement. I envisaged around 8/1; at 11/1 I feel we are getting a bit of value. He has a better draw tomorrow.
