The likely favourite may have just won on tapeta, but is zero from nine on today's polytrack. That's worth taking on. Campaign Trail is a distance winner who has won on a variety of going and although he has little evidence on all-weather so far, he seems adaptable.

Won over C&D off 82 in January last year. Veteran who is still to pick up some nice form, but this return to 2m may spark that. Finished in 2nd, 5L behind 96 rated ROARING LEGEND at the second most recent attempt over 2m. Chance off an ever-tumbling mark.

Barenboim is the outsider of the lot here but it looks like the horse is being completely overlooked. Seems to have improved for stepping up to this sort of trip and with a strong pace likely from some who haven't done the distance the selection may just have the stamina in the final couple of furlongs.
