Got off the mark at the fifth attempt when winning here on his handicap debut last month. The 7 lb increase might not be enough to stop him following up today.

The 6-year-old showcases both skill and reliability at the 2m 4f mark in lower-level handicap hurdle races. He achieved a win last November in a 2m 4f Class 5 handicap hurdle at Windsor. In the realm of lower-tier hurdle races at this trip, he is a formidable competitor who has demonstrated his capacity to win. Yet here, he may have to settle for a place, which should still profit at decent odds.

This horse generally performed well in handicap hurdles and chases in Ireland with several wins and numerous placed efforts. He had a few spins out on the flat but returned to hurdles with a fourth of twelve at Worcester at the end of August. He appears on a workable mark and has gone well after a break previously. I'm not sure he's handicapped to win, but he could run into the places if fully tuned up and avoids mistakes. With five places on offer, a reasonable each-way bet.

I think MOAB looks worth chancing at 28/1 for 5 places in this open looking 17-runner affair. He looks on a fair mark based on recent runs. I also like the booking of Brendan Powell, I like the flat track for the horse, and I like that he will be fully-fit having his ninth start (between the Flat and Jumps) since last August.
