Nick Klein v Andrey Pulyaev Tips

Pulyaev is well-rounded and strong, and, in my opinion, he has the tools to stop Klein’s ability to mix grappling and control. I expect Andrey to edge it via unanimous decision after controlling the tempo and neutralizing Klein’s striking.

Nick Klein was handed a horrible debut against the talented Abdul-Malik in a fight he was never going to win, so don't judge him too harshly on that performance. He is a quality wrestler, as he showed in his previous fight in the Contender Series, where he submitted a talented Brazilian, Heraldo Souza, in just 37 seconds. Andrey Pulyaev has fought plenty of weak opponents, which tells us little about how good he is. He looks pretty ordinary, and if this goes to the mat, I'm confident that Klein can out-wrestle him.
