Gael Monfils vs Roman Safiullin Tips

Even though there's high expectations of the match going to tiebreakers, I don't really fancy the odds here. I think more errors will be seen from either side making it a low or less competitive game.

Both of these two players tend to play a lot of tight matches on hard courts with some very deep sets. Monfils went into a deciding set in 6 of his last 8 matches on hard courts, while his last 10 matches on hard courts saw 10 sets of 12 games or longer. On the other side, Safiullin has 12 games or more in 16 sets of his last 16 matches. Monfils' last 6 matches here at the US Open went at least 4 sets. So, got to expect this one to be a close back-and-forth battle with some deep sets that should bring in the over in the end.
