Stepping up at a big price, Byzantime Empire doesn't look to me to be a complete forlorn hope. There have been signs of promise over hurdles, and coming back from a decent time away is well worthy of another attempt chasing after pulling up at Chepstow previously. Every chance E/W if bringing the A-game.

Won and did it well at Uttoxeter on good to firm last year. Hasn't done so well on softer ground of late, but switched to chasing and on good ground may well bring about a semi-elusive win back at a more suitable distance.
WIN @
Has already proven to have winning in the blood on sole start so far. Yard is in good form, and Clifford Lee is a very solid performer to get the best out of what appears to be a good performer with plenty of promise to improve. Could very easily have been NAP.

May well have to play second fiddle to Wedgewood here, but after some not overly promising runs at 5f, stepping up to 6f last time out looks to have set a fire in the belly. Back down to 5f here is a small concern, but having got the win now, I expect to see the days of 7ths, etc., to be put in the past and has good E/W chances if keeping on as last time.

Wedgewood has proven serious ability already on the A/W, and the switch to turf here could easily bring about even more. Marco Ghiani has been absolutely flying recently, and I really have very little issue laying down hard cash on this selection.

1st and 2nd at Chepstow over 2 miles last two trips out, both of those on good to firm. Appears to be in fine form and no reason to see why another win to make it 2 from 3 isn't on the cards here. Sure to be in the mix come the finish.

Hasn't gone too well the last two starts. However, firmer ground may well be in favor here. P J McDonald taking the ride is a plus, and it would be no surprise to see a bounce back towards the front in what looks like a race devoid of any solid contenders.

I'm taking a chance on Steel Drum to get up for the win first time of asking. Confidence in the yard and a race with limited form and experience to worry. Confidence in the market also. Looks a good prospect on paper.

In a race extremely limited on experience, Madajovy looks a good choice to improve based on last time's 3rd place NHF finish on debut. Harry Skelton takes the ride, sure to be in the mix.

Winner last month at Pontefract, and a decent 4th of 13 here last time out. All promising factors for another good showing here today at a venue of preference, having been a C&D winner in the past. Will be in the mix.

Performed better when on turf last time out after not really enjoying the A/W, so it would seem. If able to build on last time out's 3rd place, has a good chance with Hollie Doyle doing the steering.
WIN @
Could be the top contender to Ice in the Veins here. 5th place on only start at 25/1 and has proven to know how to lead. If able to hold out a bit longer here with that experience under the belt, looks to be the one to give the favorite a little more than something to think about.

C&D winner here last year, and after a not so great effort at Southwell, got back to more expected efforts, getting home 2nd at Wolves last time out. Good chances of going one better now back at a course that has brought success in the past and on good.

Been there or thereabouts for a while. No wins for some time, however, 3rd last time out, so maybe more to offer here. Decent e/w chances. Romanovich main rival, I expect.

Could relish the further trip here hurdling first time. Not so good under 2 miles at Ascot although that was a tougher race, but 2 mile plus looks better suited on limited form. Worth a check at a decent price and signs of promise against a short-priced Fav.
WIN @
Has already proven to have ability at this venue, having got the win over C&D second to last time out. Decent 4th at Redcar and will appreciate the firmer going once again and back at a favorable level.
WIN @
Having had a couple of wins over 6f at Wolverhampton on the A/W and 3rd last time out, looks in decent form to get a long-awaited win on turf. Never a better opportunity for me.

Seems to be improving in the finishing and on a competitive OR against main rivals. Has every chance of being there at the finish. Harry Skelton on board is a big plus, and the longer trips look favorable.

Hasn't shown too much at shorter distances, but a longer trip and firmer ground look like two potential aids for a selection already on the up after getting home 2nd over 1m 4f last time out, albeit on the A/W.
WIN @
Didn't perform to usual form on A/W recently after proving to be somewhat of a serial placer prior. Off the back of a decent 4th back on grass last time out, this looks like a good opportunity to get the long-awaited win.

Has been continuously knocking on the door until a poor 4th of 5 last time out at Bangor. Better ground today and a drop back to 2m4f may well help in the bidding for a long-awaited win. Extremely good E/W chances; however, I'm on the nose.

Newcomer Dancingondiamonds looks a good prospect on paper to me. Decent pedigree over a mile trip - obviously up against some impressive rivals here, both of which had it in them to win first time out and may still need a bit more time to prove worthy of their prices. Definitely worth a second check on debut.
