The drop back to the minimum trip may not be ideal for Vamp, who was just beaten over 6f last time, but could have race fitness on side. The favourite has shown pulling tendencies and, after a long break, may run freely, wasting vital energy.

Flicker of Hope didn't show a lot at Cheltenham in the Albert Bartlett but had shown good forward progress until that run. It can give this a proper shot back on home turf.

The selection was very decent on the flat and showed good signs over the first couple of hurdles runs at Cheltenham. Before that, winning at Fairyhouse, this looks like a much easier setup and hard to master.

Majborough was very unlucky not to follow up two chase wins in Ireland with a win at the Cheltenham Festival after making a wicked mistake at the last fence. Barely having time to gather up, it went really close in a superb finish. But barrier big errors should make amends.

The fact Altareq made its debut at Newmarket Maiden, and a decent enough one at that, suggests the favorite has shown something and could put that run behind and step up for the win here.

It's Tim. He comes here in search of a hat trick in a race that should not take much winning. He steps up slightly in trip but didn't look to be stopping last time.

Arabian Dusk probably did as well as can be expected on seasonal debut, 4th in the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket behind Zanzoun. With that under belt, should be hard to contain.
