Dobey faces Jehirszki in the round of 16 at the Poland Darts Masters. Dobey is coming off a 6-3 loss to B. Dolan, marking his second defeat in his last four matches, following a heavy 6-1 loss to C. Rydz at Players Championship 18. Jehirszki, the Hungarian player, has won four of his last eight matches, all in the European Q-School. Last year, he was beaten 6-1 by Luke Humphries in the round of 16 at this tournament. Dobey is not on Humphries' level, so Jehirszki may have a realistic chance of pulling off a win.

Michael van Gerwen may not be in top form at the moment, but he remains capable of winning any tournament. Currently ranked No. 3 in the world, he claimed the title at European Tour 4 in April with an 8-5 victory over Gian van Veen in the final. Last year, he reached the semifinals of this tournament, and in 2023, he won the Poland Darts Masters with a commanding 8-3 win over Dimitri van den Bergh in the grand final.

Price will face Bialecki in the round of 16 at the Poland Darts Masters. Price is coming off a 7-2 loss to Luke Humphries and has suffered four defeats in his last six matches. Although Bialecki is currently out of form, he's ranked inside the top 100 and shouldn't be underestimated. His most recent win came against world No. 35 Raymond van Barneveld. Earlier this year, he also recorded impressive victories over top players such as Danny Noppert, Peter Wright, and Chris Dobey.

On paper, Rob Cross is a strong favourite to win against the lower-ranked Krzysztof Kciuk. However, Kciuk should not be underestimated; he convincingly defeated Cross 6-1 at European Tour 1 in 2022. Playing on home soil in Poland, Kciuk will also be highly motivated. Meanwhile, Cross comes into the match out of form, having lost his last two games, 8-4 to Stephen Bunting and 6-0 to Danny Lauby Jr.

Stephen Bunting is ranked higher than Tytus Kanik and leads their head-to-head 2-0. However, he comes into the match on the back of two consecutive defeats. In his most recent outing, Bunting lost 6-4 to J. Brandon in the round of 16 at the US Darts Masters, despite being the strong favorite. Meanwhile, Kanik's last two victories have come against superior opponents, Mickey Mansell and Mensur Suljovic, which suggests he’s capable of causing an upset.

World No. 80 Karel Sedláček will take on world No. 2 Luke Littler in the round of 16 at the Poland Darts Masters. Littler is coming off a 6-4 loss to Nathan Aspinall and has suffered three defeats in his last five matches. Sedláček, meanwhile, recently reached the quarterfinals at the Players Championship 18. His most recent win was an impressive 6-2 victory over top-10 player Damon Heta. This season, he has also recorded wins against top names like Aspinall, Wade, Rock, Noppert, Gurney, and Clayton. An upset could be on the cards here.

Both players are coming off defeats, but Ratajski put up a stronger fight. The Polish player has won his last two meetings with Clayton, both by a 6-3 scoreline. With the added motivation of playing at home in Poland, Ratajski will be eager to reach the quarterfinals. Notably, two of Clayton’s last three losses have come against players ranked lower than Ratajski, suggesting the Pole has a realistic chance to advance.

Aspinall faces Szaganski in the round of 16 at the Poland Darts Masters. Last year, Aspinall exited the tournament at this stage following a 6-4 defeat to Boris Krcmar. He enters this match on the back of an 8-6 loss to Luke Humphries. Szaganski's most recent win came against Martin Lukeman, a higher-ranked opponent, and notably, the Pole won 6-3 in his only previous meeting with Aspinall. Given the head-to-head record and home advantage, Szaganski could well come out on top again today.
