Pogacar won 3 of the last 5 Tour de France editions, including last year's edition in which he was very dominant, winning by more than 6 minutes while also winning 6 stages. There, he faced all the biggest rivals he will face in this race, and despite a strangely poor time trial, he still dominated and won quite easily, simply destroying everyone on the mountain stages.
