I've only shortlisted six in this one so maybe NO WAY PEDRO can pick off

end. This 10yo rattled off a three-timer last season and is now only a
pound above the last of those wins. Could be a spent force now but just

Not great on two runs this season but WESTERN STARS now drops a couple
of grades and I think the market so slightly over adjusted on this one's
recent disappointments. Went off the fav in a class four turf run at
the end of last season (from a pound higher) and now comes in as a total
outsider in the a lower grade, so might give us a run for our money.

for the season. Enters this from a significantly reduced mark this
closer could get towards the business end in the latter stages. We need a

THEME PARK looks at a favourable mark on the flat and on evidence of the
run at Chester last June, 10 furlongs could well the distance this one
needs now. I'm not too concerned about the poor showings on the
all-weather the last twice over shorter trips and the run we got when
last seen at York in September, was noteworthy and from this mark.

I think POINT LYNAS is verging on free bet territory here. There's a big
advantage for lower drawn pacesetters over this trip at York and even
though this one is up in the weights I think it can deal with weight
rise and make the stall position and pace profile count. Good course
form and competitive in more lucrative races than this so can hopefully
finish in the top third. Also runs well fresh so no concerns about the
time off track.

GOOD EARTH has been pretty rubbish the last four times but three were
over the extended trip of six furlongs and was drawn in the car park
when having a poor run here at the end of last season. Returns to five
furlongs now and is two pounds lighter than last winning mark. Tends to
start well and has a better draw this time, jockey won on it twice last
season and looks worth an each-way play.

Oh god first I'm backing 45 rated horses and now I'm punting on 3yo
races. TWENTY BOB might come on from the last run on turf which was
over a mile at Yarmouth. This looks the preferred trip now he's maturing
and the only other turf run on softer ground seemed to suit too.
Considered at this price as the winter all-weather campaign, although
winless, wasn't too shabby.

Somebody, somewhere has tipped up class-dropping Light Flicker who was
one of two long prices I fancied here but the value has long gone and if
anything it's been overbacked so maybe PRINCE CLENI, the other one I
thought could give us a run at a big price, is now the value play in
this race. Was good around this time last year from this mark and
probably found the re-appearence run at Taunton a touch light on the
trip and may have also needed the run. Should be loosened up now and
worth a look now down in the weights.
