The 5yo ran a nice return run four weeks ago, 4 of 15 in a quality handicap/ the form given a big boost since by the 2nd and 3rd/ he should improve for the run and has a 2lb lower mark/ he looks well treated at the weights going off his form from last summer/ no problem with the quick ground.

Four runs for the 3yo filly, form 3210/ excuses on her last start- heavy ground- she was a cosy 3L conditions race winner on her third start/ she’s best judged on her first two starts- on quicker ground and not beaten far- races won by two runners now rated 105 and 110/ the selection is effectively racing off an 86 mark on her return in this class 3 handicap - jockey claiming 3lb - and she could be a class above these rivals.

Trainer Andrew Balding went to AW route with the 3yo colt this winter/ paying off as he won 3 from 4 this year including a £77K prize on AW Champions Day- a shade cosy in the end/ back on turf for this handicap after a 7 week break/ he was 2nd of 13 last autumn on turf in a £15K maiden race and that form is looking very strong now/ the selection is still on a handy mark.
