Micko70 Profile

I love NH racing, especially the big handicap chases, not too keen on the flat (turf) and rarely bet on the AW.

Willie Mullins has gone from strength to strength since having his first runner as a trainer back in 1988.

Willie was an amateur jockey before taking up training and managed to win the 1983 Aintree Foxhunters Chase onboard Atha Cliath and is 1 of only a handful of trainers who have also ridden a Cheltenham festival winner when he rode Wither Or Witch to victory in the 1996 Cheltenham Champion Bumper

Willie has a great training record at the Cheltenham Festival, but he has also had winners in other big races too, including on the flat, some of the big races he has won have been - The Grand National (2005), King George VI (2001), Cork Grand National (2009) and 2 big flat races, Irish Cesarewitch & Totesport Ebor (2009)

2013/2014 TEAM

I have made a list of horses to look out for during this jumps season -

Abbey Lane
Won a valuable Handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last season, novice chasing in the coming season

Annie Power
She finished last season unbeaten and managed to bag a Grade 1 hurdle, she could be even better this year

Arvika Ligeonniere
He won 3 Grade 1 novice chases last season, look out for him going right handed over 2m - 2m 4f and on soft or worse ground

Ballycasey
Will be sent novice casing this season over longer trips and won't mind any going

Boston Bob
Fell at the last in the RSA Chase at the festival and he could be a possible for the Gold Cup or if his jumping struggles then the staying hurdle races

Chiltern Hills
She is going novice chasing this season and is bred to be better over fences

Faugheen
Won a bumper by 22 lengths last season, watch out for him in novice hurdles over 2m 4f+

Marito
Unlucky when falling in the Jewson, could be rated low enough to win a decent handicap chase

Popcorn
He is a sound jumper who could well be aimed at a race over the national fences at Aintree

Rubi Ball
Won some big graded chases in France, he could be something special over 3m 4f+ chases

Suntiep
He will be aimed at staying novice chases this season and he loves heavy going

Tennis Cap
Finished 2nd in The County Hurdle and will be going novice chasing this season
