Penn National Racetrack Guide
Penn National racetrack opened in Grantville, Pennsylvania in August 1972, and since 2008 is part of the Hollywood Casino complex.
The dirt track is one mile in circumference and stages races over distances ranging from 2 furlongs for the quarter horses up to 2 miles. A seven-furlong turf course is inside the dirt track and stages races over distances ranging from five to twelve furlongs on the flat and has staged hurdle races over two miles and half a furlong.
