A handy cheatsheet from DS...

http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/reality-tv ... -comments/

Do feel Brian and Simon could be up for the first chop. Not sure if the Reverend Richard is as funny as he thinks those watching will find him. Ruth will survive a few weeks thanks to her "This Morning" connections. Feel Susan is safe until Blackpool week. Gemma and Jonnie might be surprisingly in danger to be early casualties even ahead of Chizzy and the 'will be nobbled at any moment' Charlotte. Don't think Debbie can be consistently good as others will likely overtake her. Davood and Joe could be dark horse sas they may be pimped. Alexandra and Mollie hoping to get 'the journey'?

I don't know if Aston can go from wire-to-wire and 'frontrun' his way to win but who knows!?

EDIT: Odds from Coral...

A fairly sizable move in-running for Charlotte Hawkins to go tonight (into 11/2 at bet365!) as she's just behind Brian Conley (9/4) and Simon Rimmer (2/1) to be the first eliminated. Alexandra Burke (7/2) proving to be the main challenger for Aston Merrygold (9/4) in the outright winner market with Debbie McGee (13/2) third favourite.

EDIT: Looks like a monsterish gamble in-running on Charlotte Hawkins to go. Kirsty Gallacher, Rachel Riley...the BBC's hatred towards women who work for other TV channels is tremendous.* Some money on Chizzy Akudolu but she may somehow survive.

* Yes, Caroline Flack won as I said before but that's such an anomaly in the history of "SCD".

Yes Charlotte had an absolute mare, but I think she will stay in. I also agree with you on Chizzy. It's Brian v Simon for me in the dance off and then Brian to go. But who knows, it's the first elimination!

Shocker first up then. A lot of them will be quaking in their boots next week now. Well done if you backed Chizzy for 1St elimination!

I suppose the "EastEnders" fanbase may have been split between supporting her or Davood. She was never going to win it as she is not a good dancer and the feminist support seems to be solely behind Susan Calman so who was going to vote for her? 12/1 superficially is amazing and to think she was bet down into 4/1 and worse alongside Charlotte in-running. Got blindsided to not have noticed Chizzy's odds movement. It's so obvious in hindsight!

Charlotte may get better but she likely will not improve on being an early elimination. The BBC obviously didn't want to get rid of any free publicity on a rival TV channel they got for her to be out so quickly in the first week but I don't understand the odds movement.

Feel Aston, Alexandra and Debbie may be the 'right on' final at this rate but can Gemma, Mollie or even Joe and Jonnie barge into the final at the expense of the three market leaders?

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 songs and dances - Movies Week - Week 3

Alexandra and Gorka: American Smooth to Wouldn't It Be Loverly from My Fair Lady

Aston and Janette: Cha Cha to Can't Stop The Feeling from Trolls

Brian and Amy: American Smooth to If I Only Had A Brain from The Wizard of Oz

Charlotte and Brendan: Tango to Danger Zone from Top Gun

Davood and Nadiya: Samba to Stayin' Alive from Saturday Night Fever

Debbie and Giovanni: Quickstep to Let's Call The Whole Thing Off from Shall We Dance?

Gemma and Aljaz: Charleston to The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book

Joe and Katya: Viennese Waltz to Somewhere My Love from Doctor Zhivago

Jonnie and Oti: Paso Doble to The Raiders March from Indiana Jones

Mollie and AJ: American Smooth to Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music

Rev. Richard and Dianne: Paso Doble to Flash's Theme from Flash Gordon

Ruth and Anton: Rumba to Diamonds Are Forever from James Bond (Diamonds Are Forever)

Simon and Karen: Quickstep to You've Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story

Susan and Kevin: Samba to Wonder Woman (Theme) from Wonder Woman

Elimination Betting

Brian Conley 2.62
Richard Coles 3.25
Charlotte Hawkins 5
Simon Rimmer 6.5
Ruth Langsford 15
Susan Calman 15
Davood Ghadami 34
Gemma Atkinson 34
Mollie King 67
Debbie McGee 81
Alexandra Burke 101
Aston Merrygold 101
Joe McFadden 101
Jonnie Peacock 101

My initial thoughts were for Brian, but Ruth will struggle with the Rumba as will Simon with the quickstep and Charlotte's confidence will be tested. Ruth and Antons support may continue, Brian may get the bounce factor and Simon may have gained some support. If Brian picks up votes, Charlotte could be the surprise elimination this week.

If you were to believe the front page of Oddschecker than Ruth Langford being second eliminated is a good thing but it's only bet365 that go that high as she is still the general fifth favourite to go. She is supposedly still carrying an injury though. Brian Conley still the favourite and his odds have firmed a little more into favoritism ahead of the Reverend Richard Coles.

Best prices available right now...

Brian Conley 7/4 (Ladbrokes)
Richard Coles 16/5 (Betstars)
Charlotte Hawkins 17/4 (Betstars)
Simon Rimmer 11/2 (bet365)
Ruth Langsford 14/1 (bet365)
Susan Calman 14/1 (bet365/Betstars/SkyBet)
Davood Ghadami 40/1 (SkyBet)
Gemma Atkinson 40/1 (BetVictor/SkyBet)
Mollie King 66/1 (general)
Debbie McGee 100/1 (BetVictor/Ladbrokes/SkyBet)
Joe McFadden 100/1 (bet365/BetVictor/Betfair/Paddy Power)
Jonnie Peacock 100/1 (general)
Alexandra Burke 150/1 (BetVictor/SkyBet)
Aston Merrygold 150/1 (Betstars/SkyBet)

Huh. bet365 and William Hill aren't offering odds in-running...must have been some hefty wagers on Chizzy getting booted out last week or something that has put them off. Ladbrokes and SkyBet though are still up for it. Here are Ladbrokes's odds...

Simon Rimmer 6/4
Ruth Langsford 7/2
Richard Coles 4/1
Brian Conley 9/2
Charlotte Hawkins 5/1
Susan Calman 10/1
Davood Ghadami 33/1
Gemma Atkinson 33/1
Jonnie Peacock 50/1
Joe McFadden 66/1
Mollie King 66/1
Alexandra Burke 100/1
Aston Merrygold 100/1
Debbie McGee 100/1

Brian getting the proverbial dead cat bounce it seems. Male celebrities do seem to do oddly well early on apart from that year when Patrick Robinson was the last man standing and we had the weirdly glorious and almost deliberate final four-way between Abbey Clancy, Natalie Gumede, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Susanna Reid.

Week three scores...

Aston and Janette - 35
Alexandra and Gorka - 33
Joe and Katya - 32
Gemma and Aljaz - 31
Mollie and Aj - 30
Debbie and Giovanni - 29
Jonnie and Oti - 26
Davood and Nadiya - 25
Brian and Amy - 22
Susan and Kevin - 20
Simon and Karen - 19
Charlotte and Brendan - 17
Ruth and Anton - 15
Rev. Richard and Dianne - 14

The Reverend Richard Coles is gone losing out to the chef Simon Rimmer.

Susan Calman is getting some heavyweight supporters such as JK Rowling on board even though her Wonder Woman routine wasn't good. She is this year's novelty act.

The songs and dances are out for week four...

http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/strictly-c ... -revealed/

Brian is asking for trouble dancing to The Darkness. Charlotte may be on the end of a Brendan Cole backlash as you can't ever criticize the judges as they're gods and are NEVER wrong. We're due a surprise elimination though so somebody from the mid-tier may go this week even ahead of Brian, Simon, Ruth and Charlotte...except Susan who will very likely go to Blackpool.
