With Germany only conceding 1 goal all tournament, from the penalty spot, I predicr a low scoring match. For me the safest bet is draw ht Germany ft 2.5% @7.20 with 0.5% on Germany to win on penalties @10.00

Be Lucky.

I\'m sorry but I\'m not having all this France hype, I think too many people have been seduced by the 5-2 over Iceland. France were poor in the group it took late late goals against the mighty Romania and Albania to win the group. The defence looked ropey against Ireland who they trailed to for over half the game and who also
had 10 men for a crucial period in the game. France were great against Iceland but Iceland were so open it was untrue they even made Giroud look good. Tonight they face World Champions Germany who are yet to concede in open play. Gomez being out is a blessing in disguise they can pack the midfield and nullify Pogba and Payet. You can get 2/1 on Germany in 90 mins and odds against to qualify, have the bookies gone mad!

Does anyone remember the last time Germany played the host nation in a competition? :D

Golden Rule No.1 NEVER EVER bet against the Germans.

Can anyone explain to me why I have backed France?

Worried but still in with a shout :console:

Augustin -that's the second time you've quoted odds from a bookie that I have never heard of. Are you on commission?

It looks like they're both going 4-5-1

Germany XI: Neuer, Hector, Howedes, Boateng, Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Draxler, Muller, Can, Kroos, Kimmich

France XI: Lloris, Evra, Umtiti, Koscielny, Sagna, Matuidi, Pogba, Sissoko, Payet, Griezmann, Giroud

I can see lots of goals in this match and can see it fast flowing from the start which the French know will suit their style. The trouble is it will probably suit the Germans too and therefore with both teams very capable up front it's got ot be worth a punt.

2-2 at half-time is 125-1, so if you subscribe to the 'free-flowing game' theory then that's got to be worth a go, and with that in mind a 3-3 at full-time at 100/1 also looks decent.

I had done 2 singles and a double on Portugal 3-1 & Germany 3-1, however, i also made a mistake whilst putting my bets on through my phone, i was busy chatting and checking a few markets and i accidentally put on Germany 3-1 at half time at a whopping 150/1, let's hope it's the best mistake i have ever made.

Schweinsteiger now confirmed as a s starter and looks a big price at 25/1 for a player who has a habit of being in the right place at the right time and seems to revel in these tournaments.

These two teams as expected are high up on the positive stats.

Shots taken per match
Shots on target that were blocked

1 stat that stood out was that France have scored 5 goals by headers.
