Hi MOM, think he will, its just which one /ones!!

Bath today

3.10 Hashtagmetoo 5/1 Nap

I did this one last time out , she was staying on at the end of 1 mile 2 in a class 5 under N currie, upped in trip should suit, dropped to a class 6 and with S Osbourne claiming 5lb , is the filly stays she could win.

5.10 Ruby cottage 3/1
M Saunders has only Ruby going today, she looks like an improving filly, a win and a second in her last two runs, she is low milage with only 6 runs overall. The trainer is going well this one will be in the mix.

2 singles and a double

Lingfield 1.30 BASIC BEAUTY well bred and should see this trip out well and the filly could be accounting for the odds on favourite Beholding even with an eight pound difference.

Was simply outclassed by the favourite and finished lengths behind the winner in second place. :nb: :lose:

Lingfield 2.00 ALMAFI BOY Roger Charlton charge, was second at Salisbury but won twice at Epsom, possibly likes undulation tracks, this course could be serving him well, to return the winners enclosure.

Cannot believe Murphy went for a gap up the in side. :lose:

Lingfield 2.30 it seems Andrew Balding gets winners on a daily rota, if he misses a day, something must be wrong brilliant season so far. He saddles BUILD ME UP and she was second to Tyson at Bath and could be progressive enough to land this novice.

Has no speed to be a threat. :lose:

Lingfield 3.30 Hughie Morrison is another trainer in fairly good form and his filly Quarantini may need respecting, she won at Ffos Las by two lengths and could easily follow this win up with another solid performance.

One paced :lose:

They are all Oisin Murphy’s rides today and could be well worth a lucky 15 with prices 9/4, 13/8, 4/1 and 13/2.
Not an odds on in them, which makes them plausible to figure in a punt of this nature, really good he gets all four home.

With jockeys not travelling the country, winners are extremely special even to the top jocks and even though Murphy has a good lead over Buick in the jockey championship race, he still eager to get winners to stay eighteen ahead, this before yesterday results.

I feel sorry for the jockeys at the bottom of the ladder who need rides to put bread and butter on the table and do not get recognised for there efforts due to riding poor horses that cannot win races of quality and be notice, must be hard for them.

Have a good afternoon folks, hopefully Oisin has done me a good reward with these four, would like to use Matt Chapman word “BOOM” that would be great, been a long time since having four winners on one line up.
Not a sausage and never looked like achieving a win, poor day at the office, lucky 15 out with the washing, not following a jockey like this again .

1st Oisin Murphy 8-5 119 507
2nd William Buick 8-6 104 490
3rd Tom Marquand 8-6 92 531
4th David Probert 8-4 76 461
5th Hollie Doyle 8-0 66 447
6th James Doyle 8-8 65 356
7th Daniel Tudhope 8-9 62 387
8th Ben Curtis 8-5 58 373 16%
9th David Allan 8-5 54 388
10th Luke Morris 8-0 49 420

Lightest weight they cn do followed by how many wins and rides to get to those winners from, just to give a prospectus on things with jockey title.
As we all here but without going hunting, we never know.
Possibly if these top ten jockeys are doing a light weight could be a strong indication of a big run appearing.

nice nap Crofty.
thanks...

One for me today in the first at Salisbury back at the speculative end of the betting.

1.00 S Kinz 16/1 EW

Kinz has only had 5 races, he has had 3 poor races and 2 better, one being second of 12 at Windsor two starts ago, The better races are on GF ground the poorer races on soft. The horse behind him when he was second has come out and won 4 in a row and the horse behind that one has come out and won. However the rest of the horses in the race have at best very moderate form. I will take the chance that the ground is the key factor with this one.

We were chatting about Rewardsforracing the other day and Scottish tracks are not involved, I sent an email to Musselburgh over a week ago and they stated they will answer in under 48 hours, week latre still no answer but they sent me an email about the winter game coming.
So I sent them email
Autumn and Winter is calling, amazing you can knock out an email asking me to go racing and you cannot answer a email that I sent to you over a week ago

I am a member of Rewards4Racing and been collecting points for a long time with them and decided to try and use them with a race meeting that is local to me in Fife.
I was surprise to see the four Scottish tracks are not involved, with the view of trying to get people to come racing, would it be feasible to be part of this group as this way helps with cost, as it is no longer cheap to go racing and any assistance with cost is greatly received and being retired, using Rewards4Racing points can help.

Can you help with this point and see if there is away forward to approaching this idea, which there is many supporters of this set up I resume would be gladly use their points for entry who live in Scotland, plus they may be like me have problems with transport are not able to travel south of the border but can attend racecourse like Musselburgh, Perth, Hamilton and Kelso.

You have put this aside and never answered, I have highlighted this on OLBG.

Your answer to COME RACING is more do not bother, I be writing back to Rewards for Racing, that Musselburgh do not want your services, no wonder it is council run, all other race course in England are on board, they must see something you cannot see.
I think this is embarrassing that a course of this status cannot answer, I will be thinking twice about going to this venue again.

What are members view on this, am I wrong to say this all right, I like to know.

If they are charging £50 entrance for a midweek meeting and getting punters in ,why would they want to give rewards mate ? :lose:

Casino55 cheers for that, a line I did not think of and you are more than right, why should they give discount.

My mate has gone to Newcastle for today's racing and only £19 to get in , a lot cheaper than Musselburgh class three meeting for £50 and a pound or so cheaper than a normal run of the mill at that venue.

Newcastle 3.50 Lucia Changretta could be interesting at a price and the filly is having her first run in a handicap and is sired by Cable Bay, Heather Main is the trainer, who does well at Newcastle and this youngster could be of potential here
The filly last run at Lingfield was on heavy ground, could be more suitable to the all weather surface here.

Two for me today at Ascot ew single and ew dble

1.20 The mad monk 22/1

I always look twice at a 2yo debutant being ridden by a claimer, i think its best to use a seasoned jock for first race and if a claimer is up it can be that they think it will go well. Nicely bred this one as well.

By coincidence my Uncle was a teacher and his nickname was ‘ the mad monk’!!

4.10 Aljari 12/1

Aljari has had only two turf runs, debut and last time out which was his first run after WS, he won off 92 on the AW, and with the claimer taking off 7 he runs off 79. He is a hold up horse and ran on last time without reaching the leaders, if he can be a bit closer to the pace i expect him to be challenging at the death. This race is a big drop in class for him from the AW races he has contested.
