3.55 Newbury
Here's an interesting runner to look at and think about, HEYDOUR trained by Mick Channon.
Davidadan hit on a winner from the last race at Chepstow yesterday and this was a national hunt flat race, like this one today.
HEYDOUR is bred for the winter game as he is by Presenting and add more "juice" so to speak, his dam sire is Golan, indicating stamina could be his forte.
Looking at Jockey A P Heskin booked rides at Newbury today, this one could be his best chances of a possible winner and Mick Channon trains locally to Newbury and this is his only runner.

Second post now. Keeping it simpler after by first Lucky 15 attempt got my hopes up when my first selection came in at 10/1 but then none of the others followed suit!

Ludlow 14:20 Muthabir. Recent decent class 4 form including a win back in April. Looks value at 9s, at what's seems his best distance :3:

Chelmsford 19:45 Summer Icon 11/1 Drop in class and AW looks the preferred surface. Again value at 11s :3:

Each Way Double and Singles

The decent form of Nigel Twiston Davies continues, and I feel they have 3 sound chances today, a double or treble should not be discounted. My thoughts on the trio are in my tips. Good luck with your bets!

Jump season fully ON with three meeting today, here are my views, I’ll keep an eye on a few promising runners having their seasonal reappearance and I’ll have a few bets:

12:40 Newbury Lostintranslation 7/4 888Sport
Claimantakinforgan was third in Cheltenham Grade 1 bumper at the festival and will take some beating but was off for more than 200 days and a chance is taken with Lostintranslation that finished second to Dynamite Dollars. The latter went in again at Exeter under a penalty so the form looks solid, 7/4 win bet for Colin Tizzard’s promising 5 year-old.

1:10 Newbury Dell Arca 10/1 Coral
It was a surprising (positive) display for veteran Dell’Arca last time out in very competitive handicap at Cheltenham when stayed on nicely to get fourth under hands and heels ride by Tom Scudamore. Same mark and similar distance today, Pipe’s gelding should be fitter today with that run under his belt and it’s worth a go at 10/1 Each Way.

1:30 Market Rasen Redemption Song 6/5 bet365 – 2.40 Exchanges
Big hopes for Kevin Frost for the imposing Redemption Song to make it for one of the mares’ hurdles: she caught the eye on several occasions last season most notably finishing 5th in the Grade 2 mares’ bumper at the Grand National meeting at Aintree. The feeling is that they didn’t want to lose her novice status over hurdles last season and they have decided to give her some experience in bumpers races where she did well although that was never her real job. Every chance to win her maiden today if confirming last year’s promise.

1:40 Newbury Mr Medic 5/1 BetVictor and Willie Boy 8/1 Ladbrokes
I expect further improvement from Mr Medic a six year-old who created a most favourable impression when landing novice handicap chases at Lingfield and Plumpton early last year: high cruising speed and excellent jumper of fences was arguably unfortunate not to have scored the hat-trick unseating James Best when holding every chance at Taunton in March. After a modest reappearance run at Worcester in September he won with plenty in hand last time out at Exeter and rates an exciting prospect for trainer Robert Walford.
Venetia Williams is still waiting for her first winner this season and Willie Boy looks potentially well handicapped despite being put up 15lb for winning at Uttoxeter last March. Point-to-point winner on his second start moved to his new trainer and after only three moderately promising hurdles runs was put away for three months before returning in a novice handicap chase at Sandown where he was well backed but got no further than the first: it took seven days to find out why he’s been so well supported as he returned under 12st at Uttoxeter to make all and win with his head in his chest. He could make big strides and it’s worth a go at 8/1.

2:10 Newbury Cap Soleil 7/4 BetVictor
Unbeaten in three bumpers last season including Listed contests at Cheltenham, beating subsequent winner at that level Daphne Du Clos, and Sandown when cruising from last to first, Cap Soleil looks clearly talented for in form O’Brien’s yard and should be hard to beat if can jump hurdles getting weight from her main rivals.

2:55 Ludlow Monbeg Charmer 7/2 Paddy Power
A couple of interesting last time winners that have been seriously penalised by the handicapper, so a chance is taken with Monbeg Charmer that made his seasonal reappearance 41 days ago at Worcester: keen and jumping right he ll surely improve at this right-handed track and appear fairly treated off his mark of 129 on last year second to Some Invitation. Still lightly raced, worth a go at 7/2
