Cannot believe there was no one on to discuss today’s racing that must be a first.

Sign of the times, both discussion and views have tumbled
Last October (can only find data up to the 10th, the other days seem to have been deleted)
Average posts: 20
Average views: 1737
This October (until the 29th)
Average posts: 10
Average views: 558
That doesn't mean that other areas of the forum aren't healthy though and perhaps OLBG is as popular as ever, just in other areas.

Re: Horse racing Discussion and information Monday 30th October
I guess it was only a matter of time before there was a no show on the daily thread.
Most of the system was down for vital maintenance from 11 October until early November last year and whilst I have no empirical evidence, my gut feeling is that the lack of forum during this period caused a few regular contributors to find other things to do and the forum discussions have never really recovered.
I had thought about starting threads on both the Breeders Cup meeting at Del Mar and the Melbourne Cup, but as both are fairly niche topics, I am loathe to start them and find that I am the only contributor.
