JUST GLAMOROUS

I am going for the top weight, today. He is a distance winner. He had a good class 1 win, at Ascot, earlier this month and was only just beaten, LTO, into 2nd place. Murphy was on board for both races and he retains the ride. The ground should suit him well. I am not worried about the draw but he does need to get out of the stalls sharply to stand a chance.

16.00 Doncaster
GLOBAL APPLAUSE
The horse has previously won over the 5f distance, but its last five outings have all been over 6f. They have all been Stakes races too, including at Class 1 level. The last time it ran over 5f was at Goodwood last year on good going in the Class 1/Group 3 Molecomb Stakes. It finished third, beaten three and threequarter lengths on a rating of 107. For this Class 2 handicap, it is rated 98 and Ryan Moore is in the saddle

doncaster 4.00

East Street Revue

A 4yr old from the Tim Easterby stable. Has won 4 races, all on turf and has been placed second 4 times. The 4 wins were all over 5f and seems to be adequate on all types of going. Has appeared to have taken a good while to get going this year but an excellent win last time out would seem to have him back to his best for a repeat follow up. Usual rider Duran Fentiman on board so hopeful of a big run.

Soir D'Leau
The horse won this race over track and trip twelve months ago and is a speculative wager at a big price to go well again. The handicapper may have given punters a chance by letting it run off a three pound lower mark this time around. Was a bit disappointing last time out but could be revitalised on a return to Donny with ground in its favour (five wins on similar)

Atletico
Picking Atletico in this race as it has ran 10 times in flat races on turf and it has only won 1 of them but it has managed to place in 5 of them so it may not win too often but it seems to run well in must of it's runs out.Jockey A.Atzeni has had 4 runs out on this horse and he has won 1 and placed in 1 and he has managed to have 4 wins in the last 2 weeks from 33 races.Trainer R.Varian has had 5 winners in the last 2 weeks from 31 runners in the last 2 weeks.

Call Me Vic....from Tom George yard the 10yo has shown his best form at this track , He's been a winner of a hurdle race, a NH flat race, three chases and a point-to-point from 2m to 3m on good and soft ground.

His last run was 163 days ago here 3m 1f good when 6th of 10 runners beaten 27 lengths in class 2 Mildmay series he also ran here in December last year when winning class 3 Mildmay qualifier beating Baileys Concerto who's in todays race , The yard bring in Ciaran Gethings who claims 3lb off his back

1.50A - Theatrical Star
On a bit of a losing streak (hasn't won since December 2014) but will be fit after running only 14 days ago
which was his first outing since April. Put in a good effort after that lay off finishing 6th of 14 beaten just
under 12 lengths. Finished 3/4 length behind one of todays rivals Potters Cross who also can be given a good
chance today. Stamina shouldn't be a worry as hes run over further than todays 3m 210yds and change of
jockey today may help.

1.50 Baileys Concerto

Knows what it takes to win having won 5 times in career over fences. Has been consistent recently without setting the world on fire. Showed a return to form in latest two starts with a 2nd and 3rd place finish. Distance and conditions are ideal. Has an outside chance here today.

AINTREE 1.50 NO PLANNING

This Mrs S J Smith trained gelding has won seven times over fences from good to heavy ground and after running in a hurdle race at Wetherby in his latest start 11 days ago coming back from a lengthy break sure to have blown the cobwebs away he could surprise at a big price with Sean Quinlan booked to ride

1.50 Aintree

Masters Hill

Ridden today by Aidan Coleman for the Colin Tizzard stables, this gelding's last outing was at Ascot in April this year over 24F on good ground to finish 7th of 9 beaten 10 1/2 lengths to Loose Chips, he was well in contention until around 4 out, and may have found the weight a little too much to overcome, was ridden by Tom O'Brien on that occasion.
Prior to that outing ran a very good race at Sandown over 24F good to soft to finish 2nd of 7, he made practically all there and was just run out of it close home, he did stay on well but just failed to take back the lead before the post.
Today he is 2lb better off and over a trip of 25F he may well try to make every post a winning one, and will probably have competition for that role should he adopt it, from the likes of Gas Line Boy who will normally make the running in these sort of affairs. However with the weights in his favor he may be able to put in a better performance today and is given a chance with what appears to be a good possibility of placing.
