KEMPTON 3.40 GLOBALISATION

This Miss R Curtis trained gelding is the winner of two chases over two miles one furlong to three miles on good and heavy ground the latest on his penultimate start at Ffos Las when running on strongly to deadheat with Copper Birch so after a run over hurdles at Newbury 32 days ago sure to have sharpened him up he could go well today with conditions in his favour with Jonathan Moore taking a valuable 3 pounds off

3.40 Wilberdragon

Has tried at the higher levels in Hurdles off a mark of 130, first three tries Chasing see him finishing 3rd all three starts, he’s trying 3 miles for the first time and if he stays the trip could take a hand in the finish.

Kempton 3.40

Bugsie Malone

Beat Cloudy Bob by a neck over course and distance two and a half weeks ago and although raised three pound he could still follow up on that win today as seven pound apprentice Harry Reed takes over in the saddle so effectively he is four pound lower.
His only other win is also over three miles in a ptp and on good ground he has a record of two wins and one second from three starts.

BUGSY MALONE

A strong galloper who can show he can win for the second time over course and distance.

He is better off at the weights with Cloudy Bob who he beat last time out and possibly these two could be fighting the finish out once again, with Bugsy coming out on top.

Has 12-4 to carry but Harry Reed claim will help as he takes off seven pounds.

Good ground will aide him well to carry this weight to success, as with soft or heavy this weight can be stopping in ground of that nature.

Chris Gordon must be pleased with his charge to be out quickly after seventeen days.

3.40 Kempton

Sonny The One
Last Feb he won a class 3 handicap chase on heavy ground at Taunton over just short of 3 miles off OR 114. Since then, he's raced 8 times, 7 cl 4, 1 cl 3, all at around today's distance and all with some give in the ground. He changed stables 5 runs back, but still no further wins, though he has finished runner up 3 times in this 8 race spell. What i have noticed is that this horse usually goes off backed. He also tends to run well at Taunton, a tight right hand track. I think tomorrow he might like the better ground, he ran second on good going at Wincanton, and if he has brushed up his jumping during this break, he will run a good race today.

3.40 Kempton - Bugsie Malone
The forecast good ground will suit and he beat one of todays rivals Cloudy Bob
by a neck last time out and is better off at the weights today. Has that course
and distance win to his name and has a 7lb claimer on board to help being top
weight. A few of these would prefer softer ground but Globalisation does have
winning form on good going.

Get Involved

This race sees a few that took each other on over C&D last time out and whilst this one was 3rd behind Cloudy Bob and Bugsy Makone last time but he was right there until close to the end and enjoys a swing in the weights with both of those rivals so back over a course he's done ok on and on ground he handles i can see him being involved again and possibly turning the tables.

BUGSIE MALONE

Best to just keep it simple here and go for the improving Bugsie Malone who is trained by C Gordon. Harry Reed takes off 7lbs which is going to help a lot. Because the horse won over CD last time out but has been put up 7lbs in the weights for that win.
Anyway the market leaders consist of a horse who has won 2 times from 36 chase starts and another one who is 0-3 over fences but has been running well. Anyway I feel like Bugsie will be a better chaser than hurdler and he should show that here. Also a lot of the horses in the field were beaten by Bugsie in that race.

GET INVOLVED

was 3rd behind Cloudy bob and Bugsy Malone last time out here. Here was competitive until fading late that day and gets a few pounds back off those opponents today. His jumping looked secure last time out; that seems to have been worked on and with further improvement a real possibility he can GET INVOLVED at the finish again.
Has won over 3 miles over hurdles, stable seems to be turning out horses who are running well without getting their nose in front but he has a strong chance here.

3.40 KEMPTON

CLOUDY BOB

Trainer Pat Murphy .... .... .... .... ...> Jockey Mr Thomas Greatrex(7lbs)

A Pat Murphy trained 10 year old who has had 36 races over the chases, winning twice an has finished in the frame 14 times. His last win came here at Kempton in March 2016 over c/d in a class 4 chase over 3 miles on good going, where he stayed on strongly to win by 2 3/4 lengths. He had a race here at Kempton 17 day's ago, again in a class 4 handicap chase over 3 miles on good going ridden by today's jockey Thomas Greatrex where he was staying on well at the finish, just unable to catch the winner, one of today's rivals Bugsie Malone beaten a neck. He back in a class 4 handicap over 3 miles on good going, this gelding in the oldest horse in this race, and has put in some of his best efforts over this c/d on similar going, likes to come with a rattle at the finish , has a chance in this race today.
