ahh interesting, thanks for that.

Looked a solid E/W bet at 10/1 +

That price has now gone. Shouldn't have hesitated.

The task as been made easier with the withdrawal of Trojan Rocket; was installed as favourite last night. That's probably the reason for a couple of these runner's shortening up as well.

Took 10's for Sole Dancer last night, he is my 3rd ew bet, his last run
wasn't that bad and although he has to improve from it, its not out of the question

btw the race is named after Dvinsky, who is in it

speaking of PALE ORCHID, Right Divine 8--1 is very well supported and unexposed on this surface.ran in a class 1 group 3 race last time out and although 10 lengths off the winner, this is a big drop in class

Im doing the double with PALE ORCHID and Lady Caprice as just following the market on this one but just abit worried about catlin on Lady Caprice but he does run well here. Now though i have to put up with a 25p rule 4 non runner as it is the fav greeeeeeee. At least i got 7/4 on Lady Caprice and 13/8 on PALE ORCHID just a tiny double.
I stake low on bets.(Real Life)

If i had a double headed coin I would still loose and if i had a lucky rabbits foot it would bring as much luck as it did the rabbit.

number 1 layer has been in good form of late and his selection is satwa laird in the 3.55.

He thinks russian ice will be tough to beat, but satwa laird wont win.

any thoughts?

I'd agree that Satwa is not one to trust
But saying that he only has Russian to beat imo, though I'd still go for Russian
but it might go in again because its only a small field, a field with quite a
few runners and some in form then I would doubt Satwa more

his reasoning also is satwa hasnt won at a right handed track also, and the trip doesnt suit the horse.

Ill be having a little Lay, but nothing silly as like you say not any depth really.

heres what he says

2012 SATWA LAIRD Lay
34 starts 3 wins, one of those wins way back in 2008, I really don’t think that 7f is his trip, I pondered and pondered, where could I get the answer to my pondering? I know I will ring the Blood stock agent who Purchased Satwa in October 20011, Stephen Hillen agreed with me that 7F was not his trip but still thought he could win, With the utmost of respect to Mr Hillen I would have to disagree, Keep in mind that my selection as been to the well 34 times, 31 times he never come back out the well, 15 attempts at 7f won only once, even then it was not a clear cut victory, Today’s Jockey as ridden him 3 times no wins.
Keeping in sprite with the Aldi Motto I like RUSSIAN ICE and I also like HAND PAINTED, Hand as also had 33 starts and won 3, Yet there is a big gulf in their respective prices this morning, OK I agree had last won a race way back in 2009, But still I feel hes not out of it. Russian Ice I feel should win this, The race I feel is going to be set up for(Fast Pace) which should come from April Fool, This pace I don’t think will suite my selection, Look at the manner in which Russian Ice won- Won going away is a good indicator that that there is room for improvement. The market could be swayed by the fact that Jamie Spencer is due to ride for the trainer in Meydan tomorrow, but we don’t know if there has been a change of plan, Spencer is booked to ride Ottoman Empire, Richard Mullen as ridden Ottoman to victory before, is over there, So is Ted Durcan who as ridden Ottoman 9 times(From 11 starts), In a way I wished I never spoke to the blood stock agent this morning, You kind of think that people in that position know better than you, Having said that I am very confident and I believe in my judgment

Not much room start and behind, good headway over 1f out, strong run inside final furlong to lead final 30yds, won going away (op 13-2)

I think Lady Caprice is well worth taking on today at her current price of 6/4. The entire field field would hold a chance on pieces of form & Lady Caprice as raised 13 pounds in her last two runs (5 pound higher than for her nose victory over Wolverhampton's five furlong course last time).
