LEOPOLDS ROCK
From the Kirby yard, Leopolds Rock won a Class 5 over the course and distance on its last outing. The horse carries a penalty for that win but the margin of victory was 5.5 lengths. Brian Hughes takes the ride as he did last time

Fleursals
Fleursals was fourth over course and distance last month and despite not been as good over a longer trip last time the fact she is dropped back down in trip here is a plus and she might well put in a better performance. She has not had a lot of racing for a six year old and is open to improvement. She is in off a nice weight and can go close.

This Mrs A Duffield trained gelding is not the most prolific having only won once over six furlongs from 20 starts but he did look unlucky in his latest start over seven furlongs on good ground at Beverley five days ago when not getting the clearest of runs inside the final furlong to only be beaten 1 1/4 lengths behind the Simon Whitaker trained Stoney Lane so with D Allan onboard he can make the frame today

4.50 Catterick - Bellevue Lad
He has won over today’s distance at Musselburgh last year. Joint bottom weight is helpful and first time cheek pieces may also produce an improvement. Two reasonable efforts recently, 5th of 12 over 7 furlongs at Musselburgh in May and 6th of 14 over 8 furlongs at Thirsk in June. Cam Hardie has partnered before and good going should help too.

MR TREVOR
Mr Trevor has been unlucky the last twice at Beverley with short of room and at Carlisle where room was an issue too, you can always give a horse another chance or too, as finding trouble could be this horses running with the idea of tucking in behind others and not wanting to pass. However can for give these circumstances and think David Allen can achieve a very good ride for trainer Ann Duffield and with this being strong in at the finish.
When David Allen was on board last which was here Mr Trevor gave the winner ten pounds, he looks weighted to be of interest here and with a field that does not have much depth in form, he could be producing the goods to come out on top.

Distance winner who has been given a 39 day break after finishing 6th of 12 in
a same as today class 6 after being slowly away and making modest late headway
off o rating of 54. Handicapper relents further today with rating down to 52 with
same jockey on board. Has ew appeal.

Catterick 4.50
GINATO is a winner at Catterick which is a plus on this tricky course.
He has won in the month of July and on today's forecast good going.
Ginato has been racing in blinkers but cheekpieces are fitted for the first time today (won in first time blinkers).
His last win was with Ben Curtis who regains the ride.
The stable has saddled recent winners.

Dreamcasing
Dreamcasing is still a maiden but not for much longer given the run last time.He was runner up in a big field at Thirsk last time and ran a fine race there from what was a poor draw.He will be hard to beat in this if he can produce another run like that,he is up a furlong in trip here and that should help and was well supported the last day so is obviously showing plenty at home and can get off the mark today.

Trainer Ann Duffield ..... ... .... .... ..... .....> Jockey David Allan
An Ann Duffield trained 4 year old who has had 18 races on th flat winning once and has finished in the frame 4 times. His win came as a 3 year old in Aug in a class 6 handicap over 6f at Thirsk on soft going when leading inside the final furlong to win by 1 1/4 lengths. He is in a class 6 handicap over 7f on good going , this gelding was headed near the finish here at Catterick in June when finishing 2nd of 13 runners ridden by today's jockey David Allan over c/d on similar going. Its been nearly a year since he last won a race, his last 2 races apparently has been short of room at the business end. Has a good e/w shout in this race today.

GINATO
Course winner has been a regular on the AW over the winter running a few decent races without winning
Turf runs last year were resonable ,last win was here in Sept 6f by 1.5L
Up in trip today could suit, 4yo can improve
Ben Curtis is on board as he was for the win last year, trainer has a good track record

HOW BIZARRE
From Liam Bailey's yard, How Bizarre has previously won over the distance. The horse last visited Catterick in May.It finished fifth over the distance in a Class 6 but was only beaten by 2.25 lengths. That was off a mark of 55 and it's racing off 54 today. It hasn't won since 2020,but that was over 7f off a mark of 68
