Brighton 4.30
TEEMLUCKY
Tipping an 18 race maiden may be a recipe for disaster but there are some positive pointers.
Teemlucky stays this trip, her career best performances coming over 11-12 furlongs but has gone well here over 10 furlongs.
She has finished in the first three in half of her eight turf outings this season.
Her form at Brighton reads 33 including over today's distance (better effort).
Best runs on today's good to firm going.
Her better run at Brighton came on the only occasion she has been partnered with David Egan who regains the ride today.
Teemlucky has a brother who has achieved a much higher level of form (same connections including the owner who bred Teemlucky and keeps the faith. R S Brookhouse has owned some top horses).

4:30 Brighton
MISS TIKI

Not the strongest horses are taking part in this race at Brighton. My choice is Miss Tiki. She has one win to her credit. She achieved that victory at this track at Brighton very recently - on September 13. In the saddle during that successful race was today's rider, Pat Cosgrave. By the way, it is Pat Cosgrave who has an excellent record of success at Brighton

Iconic Mover...3yo Gelding

Ran over just under 12F on his last outing at this tack 9 days ago, he was well in the mix up to the last three furlongs, finishing 3rd/6 btn 7L. This shorter distance is bound to suit him. and if in the same form can put in a better showing today. Made his racecourse debut on similar conditions as today's forecast going, there is no reason to believe it might be a problem. Jockey Aidan Keeley is a second time booking for Iconic Mover by trainer Pat Phelan. Looks a possible place prospect.

JUNOEQUE

[Junoesque is a Brighton specialist with six wins and two places from his twelve races her. This is his usual distance and most of his good form has come on GF. Darren Keenan has had four rides with two wins. Been a bit off colour the last twice but the return here and down by a pound hopefully will spark a revival.

Good luck all :hope: /i]

2.20 Haydock - Manigondo

A winner over 6 and 7 furlongs, he is experienced, with 6 finishes in the first three from 24 starts on turf. First time cheek pieces may produce an improvement, and especially on soft ground, bottom weight could also be important. He was 4th of 8 by not too far last time seen at Ripon in September.

WillTeasel stretched his lead today being only one of four to score today so we have one last chance to catch him which we could have done if we had picked today's winner

Good luck all for tomorrow :win:

2.20H - Lincoln Park
Distance winner who also has a course win here at Haydock. Had two
wins in July and August both on an easy surface which saw rating go
up to 88 from 85. Has had three disappointing runs since and rating
now 87. Has easyish ground today and has been given a 35 day break
which will have hopefully freshened him up.

Well it's s**t or bust selectionif I am going to catch WillTeasel !!

CALL ME GINGER

Call Me Ginger has been in excellent form this summer with two wins and four places from eight runs mostly in Class 4 but has placed in Class 2 and 3 winning The Bronze Cup at Ayr from 22 runners in September so can cope with big fields. His form over this distance reads 1112 with the 2nd only beaten by .5 of a furlong. Paul Mulrennan his regular jockey this year and knows how to get a tune out of him and one of the two blots on Call Me Ginger's copybook this year was when he was ridden by a different jockey so as good a chance as any.

Good luck all :hope: /i]

NEVER DARK

Won Cl 3 5f last time out on heavy altho seems to act on any ground
4 lbs up for that win as a 4yo should cope with that
Drawn low could be a plus,
Trainer and jockey combo had a 3 timer 4 days ago
