Please Add Your Unmissable Premier League Statistics

Postby nors » Tue Dec 27, 2016 3:16 pm

All who bet on football seriously research stats, we may not utilise some of the stats but they do play a part in our overall betting.

We wanted to see if members could add and discuss individual stats that enable all members to profit from their Premier league Betting on a week by week basis.

So we take the games this weekend and add stats that can help all of us to make winning bets. Just cut and paste the match and add your stat.

Hull (4.75) Draw (3.68) Everton (1.9) Snodgrass is the top scorer for Hull and has also committed the most fouls.
Swansea (3) Draw (3.5) Bournemouth (2.62) Swansea have only won 3 games this season Crystal Palace, Burnley, Sunderland, 2 of the wins were at home
Burnley (2.45) Draw (3.25)Sunderland (3.3)
Chelsea (1.3) Draw (6) Stoke (13)Chelsea have not won the last 3 matches against Stoke
Southampton (1.73) Draw (3.8) West Brom (6.25)
Leicester (2.15)Draw (3.6) West Ham (3.8)
Man Utd (1.3) Draw (6) Middlesbrough (15) Man Utd have had the most yellow cards this season. (Mourinho influence?)
Liverpool (2.5) Draw (3.6)Man City (3.08)
Watford (5.75)Draw (4)Tottenham (1.75) Watfords Holabas has more yellow cards than any other player. (If he plays with Tottenhams full backs marauding then a booking likely) Rose is high up the booking list as well.
Arsenal (1.33)Draw (5.8)Crystal Palace (11)

The most helpful stat of the week will win a cash award.

I think it's worth combing a couple of stats for a bet in tonight's televised game between Spurs and Southampton...

Southampton have only lost one home game in the league this season and have drawn almost half of those home games. By far the most common away result for Spurs this season is a draw (won 2, drawn 4, lost 2). Draw looks a likely outcome.

Toby Alderweireld is expected to return for this match, in the 10 league games he's started this season Spurs have conceded just 5 goals (conceded 7 in 7 without him). Spurs very unlikely to concede 2 in this one.

So a low scoring draw looks on the cards, dutching 0-0 and 1-1 probably the best option.

Burnley (2.45) Draw (3.25)Sunderland (3.3)
Burnley have scored 1st in 8 of their last 9 home PL games. Sunderland have conceded 1st in 8 of their last 9 away PL games. Burnley are 10/11 to score 1st (Paddy Power)

Here are the stats I have found for my Arsenal / Palace blog and what it has generated in terms of my suggested bets :

The Stats - Between the two sides

Last 6 Meetings : AFC : x5 / Draw x 1 / CPFC x 0
History at The Emirates : AFC : x12 / Draw x 3 / CPFC x 1
Overall Between two sides : AFC : x21/ Draw x 9 / CPFC x 2
BTTS Yes has landed in 4 of the last 6 meetings of the clubs
Over 2.5 goals has landed in 3 of the last 6 games
2-1 to Arsenal has landed 3 of last 4 meetings
Giroud 3 goals in last 6 against CPFC
CPFC only won twice in their history against AFC (32 matches)

Arsenal Stats
Last 6 : Won x4 / Draw x 0 / Lost x 1
Over 2.5 goals landed in 5 of last 6 games
BTTS landed in 5 of last 6 games.
Home form : 4 wins in last 6 (plus 2 draws)
Most Assists : Sanchez x 6
Most Goals : Sanchez x 12

Crystal Palace Stats
Last 6 : Win x 1 / Draw x 2 / Lost x 3
Over 2.5 goals landed in 4 of the last 6 matches
BTTS landed in 4 of the last 6 matches
Most Assists : Wilfred Zaha x6
Most Goals : Benteke x 8
Away Form : No win away from home since September.

It suggests :

2 - 1 to Arsenal (17/2)
BTTS Yes (19/20 bet365)
Giroud FGS 31/10
Arsenal and BTTS Yes 21/10 (Betfair)

Others not mentioned but worth considering

To be booked : Jason Puncheon (no odds yet available) - awaiting pricing although expected to be +6/1. he has a shocking disciplinary record.

thoughts any one?
Cheers

Thanks guys, all really helpful, i envisage this thread growing where members can check this stats thread when deciding on their bets - so we need the best/unusual/rare/not known by many to help us make winning bets.

Tottenham didn't concede 2 last night so that helped, although the outcome was awry.

I'm a big fan of stats like this. People put a lot of emphasis on home v away form when it comes to 1x2 betting and then often completely ignore it when it comes to goalscorers when the same logic applies. I remember one season when Torres was at Liverpool only 3 of his 24 league goals came on the road! When you spot a goalscorer who is a bit of a homer or one that is equally good away from home some decent profits can be made.

If you look at this page https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/T ... -2016-2017, sort by goals and then click on home and away you see some very different results.

Snodgrass scores again for Hull, so that stat came good, any other significant footy stats that can help us win a few quid?

Although Liverpool's Wijnaldum is not a prolific goalscorer all his goals since coming to England (13) have come at home. Two this season at Andfield and 11 at St James' Park last season.

Middlesborough vs Leicester 2.1.2017 1230

Boro are winless against Leicester since a 1-0 win against them back in 2002, a 13 game streak

Of the last 15 games that boro has played only twice has there been more than a goal in the first half. One of the exceptions has been against Leicester.

Seven of nine Leicester matches away has resulted in three or more goals and the recent two at Boro has ended in a 3-0 score line. Also magically Leicester has scored 2 goals a game in each of their last 6 games except one.

Alvaro negrado scored both the goals against leicester in the last match that ended 2-2 where Leicester came back from behind twice.
