F1 2016 Competition - Race 17 - Japan

Competition, Rules and Scoring

Good News F1 fans, the F1 competition is back for the new season, albeit with a couple of changes, there are now only three questions to ponder and we are now going to bring in a Last Man Standing section of the competition.

Last Man Standing is really simple, all you have to do is select one driver to finish in the top 12 at each race, once you have selected a driver you cannot selected that driver again, please note that after the 10th race of the season (after the British Grand Prix) the totals will be reset and you can select any driver again.

Should your selected driver finish in the top 12 your points will be doubled, if your driver fails to finish in the top 12 you will still score normally but you will be eliminated from the Last Man Standing part until the totals are reset after race 10.

It is your responsibility to remember which driver you have already chosen, I will put up an updated list of previous selections on each race thread, but should you chose a driver that you have already used you will be eliminated from the Last Man Standing part of the competition.

To check who you have selected in the Last Man Standing click on the link below;

The competition is quite simple, there will three questions overall, one based on qualifying and two based on the race itself, you will score three points if you get the answer exactly correct and you will score one point if you are one either way.

You will also get a Joker to be played on one question which will be worth double points, so if you get your joker correct you will score six points and if you are one either way you would score two points for that particular question.

There will also be a tie-breaker which will only come in to play should there be a tie at the top of the leaderboard for each individual race, should there still be a tie after the tie-breaker question then the person that posted 1st will deemed the winner.

All entries must be in before qualifying starts - 07:00 UK Time Saturday 8th October any entries after this time will not count.

OLBG have kindly put up a cash prize for the competition

Individual Race Winner - £5
Overall Winner - £10

Race 17 - Japan

Qualifying Question

Q1 - Pick one driver to be eliminated in Q1, one driver to eliminated in Q2 and one driver to make it through to Q3. (you must get all three correct to score 3 points, if you get two right you will score 1 point)

Race Questions

Q2 - Who will finish the race in 10th place?

Q3 - How many cars will fail to finish the race due to mechanical error? (the car must not be involved in a crash, this can be zero)

How many pit stops will there be during the race?
