Ok, so the Olympics is only a day old but we can see by the first day that British entrants seem to be struggling with the home expectancy of winning "Gold"
Mark Cavendish was expected to win Gold, even though OLBG members thought otherwise in the Road Race thread & Hannah Miley was fancied to win a medal and she struggled home in 5th place.
The Rowing heats on day 1 did bring some good news with many boats getting to the final and qualifying in good style.
Hopefully we can pick up from our poor start and start producing medals
[Please use the general Olympic thread for things like this as this forum is just being filled up with loads of individual posts and looks a mess]
