1. Burton Port - JJON will have him back to somewhere near his best and that means he's very well handicapped. Fits a load of trends.
2. Teaforthree - may well improve on last seasons effort, but can't see him getting within 10l of the winner. Will struggle after the last but will run a great race again. The type to be another 'Durham Edition place certainty' maybe ?
3. Quito De La Rogue - fits some good trends, especially what I feel are those all important recent ones. Trainer seems keen, good jockey booking IMO
4. Long Run - not up to winning a Gold Cup nowadays but he's still decent enough and he's been trained for this race since last season. Even before that The National was on the agenda and ignore him at your peril. The weight just enough to anchor him a little bit though.
