Wrote this in one of my blogs back in February and forgot I had a tiny investment.

Pineau De Re: Has a bit of class, once 5th in a Cheltenham bumper, then won the Ulster National. Entered for Grand National 2014 @ 50/1.

Overlooked it for a bigger bet as felt value had gone midweek. :P

Well done to the 9 tipsters who commented on the winner + to those who visited the Grand National guide this week as the 28/1 advice on Pineau De Re was advised. A great race.

Have to say given the form of trainer and the horse at Cheltenham (trainer knows how to Lay one out) and the price, at the weights and ratings I like Pineau De Re a lot. Could it be that this was the intended target and not Cheltenham?

Hats off to you my friend, hope you had a nice little win.
Also hats off to Pricewise. :win:

The winner was 1 of the 3 on my trends blog, advised at 33/1 on March 20th, with the blog having over 5400 views, i surely hope quite a few back it too

Well done on the blog Micko.

I did,nt back him but I see PP are refunding on Battle Group who refused to start....... so if any of you have not torn your slip up..... or even if you have you maybe able to reclaim your stake.

I wonder how many tickets will have been just binned? :?

I am quite amazed that connections ran the horse TBH, especially given the way the race starts, or they should have had a better plan, try and get him to the front and once they set off, hopefully he might decide to join in

Pleasing but could be better

Pleased I backed the winner Each Way and profit Each Way on chance du Roy in 6th as did it with vc bet, a little annoyed I ignored the rainbow hunter 70 day stat but that the only bet I'm annoyed I still did that I should not have done. I follow price wise every Saturday even if don't agree with all his selections, wasn't keen at all on shakalakaboomboom but went with it due to Tom seal being a great tipster. Did he put piney de re up as price wise extra? Only made 5pound12 profit on grand national as was inpatient with getting 8 of 9 bets on last night when would have got better price today at 33to1.
