Australia have apparently already nominated Germany as their surrogate host if they win...which is just as well considering how well they're doing right now with the juries.

Loved Germany's entry. Nobody on the juries did though!

I'm not feeling this new 'second half televote' reveal. It's like watching Championship Manager or something.

Russia went out to 10/1 third favourite then closed in at 7/2 over at William Hill.

The televote went crazy for Poland getting at least the fourth most amount of points!? The juries only gave them SEVEN points!

What have we learned tonight, is that the judges have not got a clue.

I haven't lived through 1956 voting procedure, but it's like they came out and revealed the winner just like in 1956, hush hush. I miss the tradition of every country actually saying their votes publicly.
Still, it doesn't matter, always the same.

For me, they know who the winner is and are just stringing us along. This was supposed to make it more transparent....it's made it so that it's even more of a *COUGH* mystery.

This was terrible and killed the entire contest. This is PURE POLITICS now, not people from similar cultures liking each others songs but juries basically deciding it all. This is a statement to Russia more than anything, who did not have the best song by a mile, but obviously did not get enough jury love for totally different reasons, unrelated to music.

I have learned that anybody betting on this need a good hard look at themselves.

People bet on this and get beaten by countries being tactical, look at Poland man, 4th best vote but only 7 points from juries

Fair play to anybody who had a bet and made a profit

I avoided Russia as I thought they weren\'t gonna be all that popular around Europe, ended up backing Australia as they would be popular winners, watched their odds drift to 1/8 with only Russia 8/1 after the judges vote anywhere close, who would have thought Ukraine who hit 100/1 would do it!

My overall review is how cap the judges vote is and how the polish must be feeling about that, judging by how popular they were without the so called \"experts\" maybe they could have won it, Russia supporters could say the same.

Wow stunned. So many things tonight brought to light. 1st some Jurys were clearly taking the piss, especially the UK.

Congratulations to everyone on Ukraine. Russia were harshly treated by the Jurys and very surprised to see Australia be so far clear at half way.

So much to learn from from this years event and hope I can put it to good use in 2017.
