I know everyone is talking about Samcro after his weekend stroll to a 10 length win and shortened into 2/1's fav already.

But to me, that was an immense run and he's going to be really, really special if he can stay injury free.

Completely agree Brownie - Samcro was hyped last season IIRC, and avoided running at the Festival to protect him for his future endeavours.

Samcro kicks clear 2 out, ND tries to reel him back but was tapped for toe, and looks like he needs further....both reputations in tact, both of my books looking good :hope:

The strongest of the novice races this season, looking at the results and form in Britain and Ireland.

Samcro appears to be this year’s Faugheen, although he could be this season’s Denman. I backed the Elliott star earlier in the season but went slightly stronger with On The Blind Side. I’ll be both surprised and disappointed if they make a late switch to the Albert Bartlett. He has the turn of foot required for this and the 3 mile point to point he won was mediocre at best.

Well both will win respective races and both will shorten in the market. I guess it could be worse

You mean the trial, yes ?
Yes, Yes...the Sunday race.

If he were to miss Cheltenham, you'd be hearing screams, tantrums and tears from the North of England

:d

I hope he makes it because the festival is lacking star names more than ever this year.
