Well that was a shock.
Willie Mullins has had a shocker of a festival so far.

Willie Mullins has been very quiet with the media on TV this week, too.

The old boy listening in again intently and noddng his head off when Lydia Hislop interviewed Henry de Bromhead after the race! Anyone know who he is??!!

Cheers Ex, it was close thats for sure! How is it possible that I've 3 50-1 horses, one win and two place yet the 3/4-1 shots I have backed have been nowhere lol crazy festival this year.

At last a winner in the comp! Sadly only e/w, but 20/1 was a fair price for the horse. Just got it the wrong way round with Sir Valentino who I had to win and finished 3rd at 33/1.

Something possibly wrong with Douvan, but at least he didn't fall which was the only thing I could see that would stop him winning. Thankfully that didn't happen and he'll live to fight another day. May well get a good price on him for next years Queen Mother at the moment?

Fantastic stuff and finally an actual winner, Cause of Causes hacks up, another one that Codd and Elliot talked up on the preview circuit which gave me real confidence, what a fantastic horse he is.

I have had to many seconds today with Whisper and Neon Wolf along with a third with Cantlow so hopefully I can pick up the winning thread with DIVINE BERE who looked very useful when winning at Huntingdon.

Wow, Linger now 7-1, I was on on the exchange at 26, have hedged at 8.2 leaving a very nice free bet.

Appeared to take a knock during the early stages, although I was watching on a small screen phone so hard to tell exactly, but wasn't right after that anyway, disappointing giving the huge gamble.

Not sure where originated from but Linger and Deubachet in the last were all over social media as 'Good things' last night and today.

Very dissappointed and debuchet getting collared close home was rubbing further salt into the wound.

Oh well .... always tomorrow

Well it's fair to say the day of favourites winning I predicted early certainly didn't materialise with even Douvan getting beaten.
Might bite at 12/1 antepost kept me in profit on the day. Divin Bere and Neon Wolf came very close to making it a very good day.
Onwards to tomorrow :win:
