Deep breath...we're onto the Arkle.

Daft price for a novice, he'll win if he stays up, but, well...they're novices!

Ordinary World for a big price place.

Be interesting to look at the sectionals in that. My initial reaction was they weren't going a strong pace, with the Mullin's leaders potentially trying to turn it into a sprint for Melon.
Official time is 7 or 8 seconds slower than the last couple of years on Good to Soft ground.

As far as I can tell, the finishing speed looks to be very quick from the last compared to the overall time.

Royal Caviar looks to my eye the one who is despite Altior the horse who loves the hill most here and rates a decent Each Way bet out of the prelims.

What a shame that race ended like that, I think Charbel was going to give Altior some serious issues! Congrats on Ordinary World at big prices!

I think you've lost it mate. Best thing to do now is have a tenner on it, these things have a habit of evening themselves out!

You can also back him Each Way in the tipping competition which obviously won't be at full win odds but better than nothing if he wins and a little security if he places.

The Ultima Chase

Can Holywell put his recent form behind and show the kind of festival form we all know he can produce? Pilgrims Bay might provide a shock here for the Neil Mullholland stable.

Noble Endeavour my NAP of the day here, got a couple of E/W bets on Holywell and Henri Parry Morgan too. Holywell won this 2 years ago and has a huge turnaround with last years winner at the weights, looks sure to go well IMO. Henri is an improver who is on a nice mark for me, I've followed him for a couple of years now and he has kept getting better, jumping concerns but if he gets round cleanly he has a huge shout.

Had the winner last year, thought he'd struggle with his 7lb rise, sometimes you should just keep the faith
