- roland65 - (15) 36.9
- marussell - (16) 34.0
- Ellismrees - (6) 30.9
- mackie64 - (5) 30.0
1. attitude adjuster - (24) 28.7

https://www.olbg.com/tables/events.php?id=6

marksutherland still holds the lead for the third successive day and very nearly had the last race winner Pendra but had to settle for the place return.

The total number of tips placed to date are also shown here as a minimum of 20 is required to qualify for one of the top 5 prizes, so members not yet on at least 20 tips will need to ensure they place enough from tomorrow's seven races (can do 2 per race, 1 to win and 1 Each Way).

Big thank you to members again today for some excellent content and advice, all 7 winners today were tipped for OLBG followers.

Best of luck to all tomorrow on the final day, should be an exciting finale.

Final Day, good luck to everyone !

TRIUMPH HURDLE RESULT -

1st - DEFI DU SEUIL 5/2 (SP)
2nd - Mega Fortune
3rd - Bapaume

Impressive winner for favourite backers to start the final day and 55 OLBG tipsters would have been suitably impressed with their pick, namely marussell who is high up the leaderboard, beepee1984, leepd123 and garethp1981 (below) -

"Unlike many in this race, Defi Du Seuil is by a sire whose progeny have a reputation for jumping and this should stand him in good stead. He may prefer it if there is a bit of rain and if this transpires this will be reflected in a reduction in his price, which will reward earlly backers. Even with conditions as they were today I think he has a good enough chance to more than justify this price for punters."

A very competitive County Hurdle up next, good luck.

COUNTY HURDLE RESULT -

1st - ARCTIC FIRE 20/1 (SP)
2nd - L'Ami Serge
3rd - Ozzie The Oscar
4th - Air Horse One

Fantastic weight carrying performance in this ultra competitive handicap and 19 OLBG tipsters were on the best horse in the race (top weight in a handicap ?), including Scratville, donkosaurus, titans choice, mooster100, Mickey Pearce and cogsy63 (below) which puts in bang in contention for top prize as we stand -

"Brings a touch of quality to the race but as a result has to shoulder topweight. He has run in 17 hurdles races and finished in the first 3 on 14 occasions. Bear in mind, he finished second to Faugheen three times and twice placed behind Hurricane Fly, then he should be worth more than a second look. On the down side he has been off the track for 418 days but then again he gas run well fresh. The yard are back with a bang at the Festival so has to be seen as a threat to all."

The updated table after the Triumph Hurdle result -

marksutherland (17 tips) 53.3 (LSP)
- elbeddo 15 43.2
- roland65 15 36.9
- marussell 17 36.5
- Ellismrees 6 30.9
- mackie64 5 30.0
- cluckingbell 19 28.3
1. attitude adjuster 25 27.7
2. cogsy63 28 27.5
3. Leysh1984 32 26.4
- Phildog7 12 24.5
4. STSSTS 26 23.6
- shortyss 17 21.2
5. sausagenose 22 20.8

The County Hurdle Result is not included in the above as yet.

ALBERT BARTLETT HURDLE RESULT -

1st - PENHILL 16/1 (SP)
2nd - Monalee
3rd - Wholestone

Another for Willie Mullins on St Patrick's Day, 6 OLBG Tipsters were on including jhovey (ew), Louthy, reeder10, jimcarrryyy and deco121's advice below -

"Solid performer on the flat and transferred that form to hurdles for Willie Mullins this season winning 5 of his 7 starts this year - burst blood vessel first and then 4th in Grade 1 contest after faller badly hampered him in closing stages his only defeats. Won Grade 2 Guinness Novice Hurdle impressively last time when upped to this trip for the first time and is completely unexposed over this distance. Race should be run to suit him and 16s a great price - if Ruby was on board he'd be single figures but Paul Townend gave him a brilliant ride last time out and is 2 from 2 on board."

Will include table update after 4.15.

Big one up next, good luck in the Gold Cup ....

GOLD CUP RESULT -

1st - SIZING JOHN 7/1 (SP)
2nd - Minella Rocco
3rd - Native River

24 OLBG tipsters struck gold with Sizing John, including Zipster, (Mickey Pearce, mooster100 and bluemal all ew), Dicky, robinho7, elbeddo who figures highly on the current leaderboard and david37 (ew) below -

"Native River was my original fancy for the race and he should go close at least but the form of the yard seems to have dropped away - they were dominant in the first half of the season and won some big prizes - and a yard/horse has to be at concert pitch to win here during the festival. On that basis clear preference for Djakadam and for the danger I have decided on Jessie Harrington's young improver. Never out of the frame an mostly campaigned over two miles - only stepped up to 3m on latest start and travelled well and kept on well at the finish - he is only a 7yo so could be the dark horse in the field. Proven in the higher grade he may get close to Djakadam."

We'll have a table update before the next race, good luck in the Foxhunters ...

- Ellismrees 6 30.9
2. reeder10 25 30.2
- mackie64 5 30.0

4. attitude adjuster 28 24.7

FOXHUNTERS RESULT -

1st - PACHA DU POLDER 16/1 (SP)
2nd - Wonderful Charm
3rd - Barel of Laughs

7 OLBG Tipsters were on Paul Nicholls first winner of this years festival, including danmac, slimey, Bisto6 and Trotski's (ew) advice below -

"Finished 5th in this race last year and was running on well at the end in similar ground to todays. Winner last time out at Bangor after a break of 6 months with that days jockey retained. Comes alive this time of the year with 3 wins from 5 outings in the month of March. EW shout."

MARTIN PIPE CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS HCP HURDLE RESULT -

1st - CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC 12/1 (SP)
2nd - Verni
3rd - Runfordave
4th - Coo Star Sivola

4 OLBG tipsters were popping the corks after finding Champagne Classic (another for Gordon Elliott), Baz2014, Denman2008 (both ew), schneedler25 and Billy121only (below) -

"Often this race has gone to a horse who is or will become a proper 3-miler and CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC fits that description nicely. Winner of a point, he took his form to a new level upped to 3-miles behind the useful Tin Soldier and although it was slightly shorter when he took his maiden by 8 1/2 lengths, that wouldn't have mattered. Disappointed last time but inadequate distance and heavy ground are both plausible reasons and he could leave that behind today. The 6-y-o has been busy enough but that needn't be a show-stopper from this yard and he may be the value among the Gordon Elliot trained trio."

One to go after a marathon four days, good luck in the Grand Annual ....

GRAND ANNUAL RESULT -

1st - ROCK THE WORLD 10/1 (SP)
2nd - Gardefort
3rd - Theinval
4th - Dandridge

6 OLBG Tipsters advised the winner in the lucky last, skyerockythepie, twister, doddydewdrops and themightyduck's analysis below -

"Won a novice event in the autumn of 2015 here and finished third in this race last year. Knows this course and can win here off only 1lb higher than that run. Harrington and power have teamed up for a win already and I think can get their second in this."

The table standings before the final race were as follows -

2. elbeddo 24 43.2
3. cogsy63 36 43.0

We will need to complete our checks before confirming the prize winners.

A massive big thank you for all participating members over the four days, we have witnessed yet again some excellent tipping and analysis for OLBG followers.

A big well done to marksutherland for winning top prize in the Tipping Competition finishing with a level stales profit of 47.3 points.

Mark added excellent analysis and tipping over the 4 days and started with Labaik winning in the first race of the meeting, advised at 50/1 -

"I know Labaik wouldn't be everyone's choice in this race at 50/1, but I feel if this horse jumps off it has a strong chance of being involved at the finish. The fact it's Gordon Elliot's only representative in this race I feel is a tip in its self due to the strength and depth in his squad this year. The very talented young Jack Kennedy will be keen to get a winner on the board. Forget this horses last run where it finished 6th it almost refused to race and got tailed off at the beginning, the horse was impressive winning its first 3 for Elliot and if they have ironed out its starting problems, don't be surprised if this horse is right there where it matters."

Mark also tipped Buywise and Ordinary World Each Way for followers on day 1, Might Bite to win on day 2, was unlucky being touched off for the win with Pendra at 16/1 in the last on Thursday, settling for Each Way.

Also well done to the following four members who added the minimum requirement of 20 tips and finished in the top 5 to complete the prize winners, schneedler25, cogsy63, elbeddo and reeder10.

73 members finished the four days with a level stakes profit and added at least 20 tips.

The top 5 finished as follows -

1. marksutherland 47.3
2. schneedler25 45.0
3. cogsy63 42.0
4. elbeddo 41.2
5. reeder10 35.2

The final table standings can be viewed via the link below -

Members prizes will be allocated to OLBG accounts shortly and a massive thank you again to all participating members for great analysis and tipping advice for OLBG followers over the four days.

Well done again to the prize winners and Aintree next ....
