2017 Cheltenham Festival Betting Offers

Postby Gman84 » Mon Jan 30, 2017 2:45 pm

I figured this deserved it's own thread, a note on who is going NRNB and when and what races. Also any other offers or interesting bet offers that are out there or new customer offers if there is someone you haven't got an account with (yet).

So far No Runner No Bet :

William Hill : They are calling it "Non runner insurance" but effectively same as NRNB although, if your horse doesn't run you're refunded but if horse goes in a different race you get a free bet instead up to £25.

SkyBet - 4 Championship races and Supreme Novices Hurdle (they are race sponsors). They also are NRNB on their "Festival Fever" markets. I'm hoping SkyBet bring back their £25 free bet if you lose offer on the first race of each day.

bet365 - 4 Championship races and Ryanair Chase (also offering BOG on Ryainair).

RaceBets, Betfred, Paddy Power, 888Sport - 4 Championship races.

Am I missing anyone? Betfair, Ladbrokes and Coral haven't gone NRNB on anything yet as far as I am aware.

Any good offers, price moves or updates on NRNB, post them here.

Each year many bookies offer opening day freebies/money back normally associated with a talking horse, can anyone remember what the big bookies did last year (or previous years) and whether the horse won or lost?

As mentioned above SkyBet offered money back as a free bet if your horse lost in the opening race of each day of the festival up to £25. They were also the first company (to my knowledge but happy to be corrected) that went NRNB on ALL races last year - 27th February.

I'm rubbish at remembering much more but recall Coral in 2015 offering if you bet £20 on the Supreme they'd give a £5 free bet for every winner Ruby Walsh rode. He won the Supreme on Douvan and then the Arkle on UDA and the CH on Faugheen. Then Annie Power was going to the last with a massive lead...

Is it £20 the Skybet offer, not £25?

Sprinter Sacre winning the Arkle at Evens was probably the best one of these in recent years. Max stake £20. Coral's website duly crashed thereafter.

Ladbrokes & Paddys always do their countdown to the festival with some value-added propositions. Usually in the 30 days before the festival starts.

Skybet have a comprehensive list of festival specials up on their site at present.

I remember WH paying first 6 places e/w in the supreme with only about 9 taking the starting line a few years ago.

Paddy Power had money back if a loser in shop on UDS to win the arkle, and pushed out to evens? Max £50.

With all the promos out there, it's hard to not break a profit on the festival if you take them all up. Here's hoping people make the most of this thread.

No, £25
I'm sure i put the full amount on Altior last year and got £100 return from a 4/1 winner. AH well.

When do Betfair start moving into nrnb ?
I dont want to play any market this year until nrnb as its a particularly hard year to second guess willie mullins
If I study and fail so be it
But to not study is like opening your window and throwing your money out hoping the wind brings it back in
