Yanworth didn't impress me for him to be competitive at 2m I think he needs a bigger field for a true pace and to jump better. The former might happen, the latter is on him.

Jezki done by Tombstone over in Ireland might see him pushed towards the stayers event now.
I think Jezki is past his best by quite a way. Ridiculous to have seen him 6/1 for the Champion Hurdle. He had every chance of a bounce and I wouldn't back him for anything at Cheltenham.

I've been with Brain Power at 12/1, 10/1 several times and have been topping up at 15/2. I won't back anything else and it's Vegas or Bust for me here. Maybe he won't be good enough but there has been so much bad value in the race and he's one of the few who looks to be improving and likely to be suited by decent ground.

Yanworth's best run remains the Christmas Hurdle and it looks flimsy to me.
Could well be past it considering how flatter he was by the previous race conditions...I do also think that its worth noting it was heavy ground...and as Jessie said, he has never been quite as good on that surface...winning once beating Un Beau Matin in 2012. Granted a lot of the time since then he has been racing the Fly who was good in the conditions...

Jezki always seemed to improve for the spring and better ground and whilst its hard to see him coming back to his very best again, i still wouldn't rule out improvement over the festivals

I just wonder whether Limini will be racing here.

VVM disappointed at Doncaster for whatever reason, 2 miles doesn't look her thing to me either, so the Champion to me isn't an option.

Willie has Shaneshill and Nichols Canyon for the 3 miler.

Limini will get the 7lbs allowance, looks wide open, and that was an impressive reappearance.

I've taken a bit of 8/1 e/w NRNB as to me, if she runs, she'll be much shorter. If she doesn't, money back and this race is so wide open I think she'd have a great chance if she goes. A bit like the Gold Cup you can probably take a few shots at this and hope the bigger prices hold. I'd gone Apples Jade earlier but pretty sure she'll go for the Mares' Race so will be getting my dosh back there.

She'll be shorter for the Ruby/Mullins connection.

She's a very talented horse, as we saw last season.

The main difference was her jumping the other day, very slick.

She could be a player.

Big news for champion hurdle betting jockey Barry Gerraghty won't be riding at Cheltenham he's been ruled out due to injury. He had a choice of 3 fancied runners interesting to see what jockeys pick up those rides now.

Sounds like Willie Mullins is leaning towards running Limini in this race. He stated 50/50 but given he also stated he feels VVM should be allowed the chance to defend her title it seems to all be falling into place.

Rich Ricci has said in an interview on Racing Post YouTube channel that it will be a very late decision for Limini he didn't mention the champion hurdle as a possibility in that but it seems they might be going that way with her. He said he could put Limini and Vroum Vroum Mag in the mares together but he doesn't like to do that so I can't see that happening.

If you believe the way the exchanges are going then Moon Racer looks like he is heading to the Champion Hurdle.

Adds another interesting element to the race. It may be lacking quality, but it's a great betting race with a ton of different angles and cases to be made for a lot of the intended runners.

From the quotes I've seen from David Pipe looks like we'll be left guessing until near the off. I think they want to see how the fields for both races shape up. The money is coming though, still a best priced 14/1 NRNB with the race sponsors who have finally gone NRNB!

Limini NOT supplemented

Ok just that in the Irish Times Willie Mullins said he would leave decision on Limini to next week and Camping Ground looks unlikely to run as Gary Moore said I am not going to pay £20,000 supplementary fee while it is mostly good to soft.As he would want it soft verging on heavy and he said there is unlikely to be enough rain at Cheltenham in the next week to change that so he will wait for the Betway Aintree Hurdle.
