Money for Apples Jade this morning, as a result of the Mullins/Gigginstown split.

Maybe a new trainer can take it to Faugheen/Annie Power early in the season.

She looked good last year, that romp at Aintree by 41 lengths.

Big step up however!

Ricci confirms Faugheen will not be going chasing, but could be stepped up in trip, as in won over 3 miles as a Novice.

I think there looking at Champion for Annie P and World Hurdle for Faugheen, if anything happens to Annie, Faugheen rerouted back to 2 miles.

Both have been fragile over the last couple of years, small niggles and injuries, might be a market to avoid.

Having said that I have backed Apples Jade at 11.5 ish average.

Yep looking as if the machine steps up, while Annie defends her crown.

Would be the right decision in my opinion, even though AP was just pipped in WH by a very good horse before his issues...i do question how well she stayed the trip.

AJ for champion is something i wouldnt be interested in until seeing her perform against older horses. she beat IG on poor ground albeit by a country mile.
IG wouldnt be a champion hurdle horse IMO. neither would Lets dance.

The New One set to go chasing- if that turns out to be a failed exercise, 66s for CH could be an ok price..he doesnt win but has fair chance of placing.

also i guess the World hurdle at 20s, would be in the equation

He's had his chance i'd say, the ship has sailed with him.

Chasing at his age?

Not for me, but time will tell.

Yep i'm not a massive fan, but if he bombs out over fences he could quickly be back on the hurdle route, and considering the CH normally cuts up, 66/1 first 3 could be massive....

Yeah, agree...sort of :D

Good luck if your playing at that price!

Interesting he goes over fences, had lots of back issues which were mean't to account for his poor hurdling technique, not sure how he'll be over the bigger ones!

Not sure i will be playing, more speculating lol

yeah, i wouldnt bank on him taking to them like, which is why i think he'll end up back over small ones.

The 4yos fail to deliver yet again! I said above, AJs would need to perform against the older horses before i'd be interested in her.

I don't think all is lost with her of course. she will be decent in her own sex. I still wouldnt be piling in on her for the mares race myself but she'll have a fair chance.

Itll be the same old protaganists this year, with maybe one or two from the novices coming through.
