Ben Pauling has within the last hour added comments to his Twitter page:
"Delighted to let you know Barters Hill was spot on this morning and again this evening. Ready for his big day, hard as nails."

Twitter has its downsides but helpful info travels quick!

Dont think anyone has highlighted the form boost with Altior destroying the Supreme Novices in the opening festival race? That is solid form and I'm firmly in the Barters Hill camp.

Me too David.

I'm convinced that even if he wins he won't get the credit he deserves.
Hasn't seen the back of a horse for nigh on, 7 starts now.

Went off so hard with Up For Review at Doncaster and still had the reserves to battle again at the line.

I know people are saying Shantou Village will be better on the ground today, but I think so will this guy. Kalanisi's are typically better on faster ground and his win at Aintree certainly showed he's no slow coach on it.

I can't find any negatives for Barters Hill.

Spoke to Ben at Cheltenham yesterday, he said all systems go and can't wait to see him run. It would be great for the sport to see him get a winner. Long Dog has to be respected on this kind of ground and with the form in the book.
