Hi and welcome to OLBGHi everyone,
I have followed this forum for a little while now & decided to join up as I have a question I hope someone can answer.
If, for example, in a tennis match you feel that the odds on the favourite to win are too short (and they may struggle a little), why would it be better to Lay the favourite & exit than to back the underdog and cash out?
Is it simply that the odds are better (since it does not include the bookies' margins)? And if you are a profitable player would this still be the case after target='_blank' href='http://olbg.info/6/L3/D/words'>Betfair's commission is factored in?
Thanks in advance.
You could do what have written or you could back the outsider at (odds against), hope they win the first set and then back the other player, who will in most cases be odds against, thus guaranteeing a profit.
A friend of mine does this, but he loves his tennis and knows far more than me.
