Ive tried this before and laying all horses in the place market at 1.26 - Yes you will have winning runs but without research and discipline you will lose very quickly in the long run, sorry to say :(

Lay betting

Postby johnyyydal24 » Tue Aug 12, 2014 11:44 am

I don't know much about lay betting but was wondering how it works.
Say I layed a horse with a £10 stake at 3.1 and it lost. so then I win ok.
But by how much. I have checked this on a betting site saying you win.
£40 less £30 liability which brings you back to a win of £10 less commission of 5% so its a loss of 50p. if you get your stake money back plus your £10 win then that would be ok. just wondering how it works. especially if you were laying all selections. just wondering cheers.

Hi johnyyydal24,

Maybe you could take a look at the OLBG betting school, Laying and Advanced Laying and Exchanges lessons? Link below.

My advice is to put your lay bets in-play just before the end, if there are at least three horses with odds of 2.0-5.0
