That's my man!! Positive attitude :):)

I'm with you though, I think England will win win at least a 2 goal margin and I also believe Vardy will score.

Come on England!!!

We (Wales) just need a point as I believe we will beat the Russians. There is no real argument that, on paper at least, the England team is a better outfit than Wales. That said I've happily taken the Wales / Draw double chance option. Even if the worst happens against the English, I still think Wales will qualify. Just call it blind optimism!

I always favoured a draw in the England v Wales match and nothing that has happened in the tournament so far has changed my mind. I expect a typical British game with retention of the ball an afterthought as both teams pile forward at 100 mph. Lots of crosses into the box and clattering tackles.

It will be like a derby game in the Premier League. I would expect Bale to be targeted without being man marked and Roy to start with the same team that started against Russia. Dier will again be important in breaking up attacks.
I would always favour Kane over Vardy but in this British type game he may do well with balls over the top. Maybe Wilshre and Vardy being brought on, with Wilshere trying to release Vardy with these over the top passes.

The odds on England look too short, and the draw and Wales look a touch big, although tipsters don't agree with me with the current percentage of tips below.

England 72% 4/7
Wales 10% 6/1
Draw 16% 3/1

The £50 bet365 in play offer looks helpful to those having a bet and i will be looking for in play bets that reinforce the stalemate angle.

First i agree with nors.
I always favoured a draw
and nothing that has happened in the tournament so far has changed
my mind.

Think just heard on radio!!! Hodgson sticking with the same team..
Ie no Vardy upfront!!
If that s true Why did Hodgson take him :? Just to warm bench..
Going be just like Premier League season, looking forward to it, and
turn sour etc..
Anyway this will be wake up call for Hodgson if we don t deliver
against Wales- feeling England be lucky enough qualify for third place!!

England now at 69% The team is the same as against Russia which makes sense. However dont think it will work as well against the Welsh and we are going to need Wilshire/Vardy.

Terrible decision by Hodgson (and I quite like him), Kane is knackered! Vardy is the key player for the Wales game.

0-0 at half-time
0-0 at full-time unless Vardy comes on.

Disappointed.

I will happily say 'Well done Roy' if I'm proven wrong, after all he does know best......maybe!

How on earth can Sterling keep his place , and Vardy not be in the starting line-up?
Vardy has proved himself against the players he would have been facing today.
Should Vardy be transferred to a so called BIG team, he'll be an automatic choice no doubt.

If Roy Hodgson managed France Dimitri Payet wouldnt have played a minute of football yet. France wouldnt have won 2 games in fact without him they could have lost both games.

Jamie Vardy is the only player we have that is willing to shoot without a touch to control it. Wales are a far better team in spirit than Russia.

Wales at 5/1 (3 pts) seems generous, I hope I am wrong. Bale to score first at 6/1 (2 pts) but also Ashley Williams 50/1 (1 pt).

Wales to win 2-1 (2 pts) 20/1 and savers on a more exciting game goalwise, the first of this tournament. I dont rate the England defence, so 1pt each on 3-2 66/1 and 3-1 50/1.

For England's sake I hope I am very wrong, but that is how I think with our team news.

Extraordinary free kick. Poor Joe Hart. Kane out of the game, needs Vardy on as support, we just don't look happy as a team. Nothing is happening within the box.

Roy does that prove how wrong you were to leave him on the bench.
