I've got a clean sheet for Germany today. Why is that?
They are playing with what is traditionally Italy's strength. Ever since Hummels came back in the second game of the tournament, they have been incredibly hard to break down, paired with Boateng and Neuer in goal behind the two, that's the best defense in the world.
Up front, they have enough players who can score at any time of a game. I think eventually one of them will, whether it's Müller or Gomez. Since Kimmich came into the team at RB, they also receive nice high support from the side.
The past won't matter, they showed they can beat Italy last March.

The under 2.5 price is drifting on the Germany vs Italy game. I took it at 1.53, but it's since drifted to 1.58. Are there any key players missing, or any other possible reasons why?

edit: now drifted to 1.6

Possibly Germany's switch to a back three.
Two of last three games were over 2.5

Hello everyone.

As Keith Floyd used to say I've had a good slurp and am feeling kindof cheerful.

Hopefully it'll be a good match and Germany will go through as I've invested in them heavily to win the tournament.

Good luck everyone with all bets.

Having backed Poland and Italy on Bet 365 to qualify because of the prices that strategy didn't work.

However Germany in my opinion were the team trying to win the game so maybe they deserved the luck/skill in the penalty shootout.

They would have felt hard done by had they lost.

You know I love a tie-break/penalty shoot out Nors.

Germany were a value price @1.95 when the shoot-out started. Armed with my stats above I'd have priced them at 1.75.

Obviously I was happy to get my shoot out double landed and I still have France being frozen out by Iceland tonight as a possible third. What I am ecstatic about is the bet is with a bookie who has now restricted me to a max bet of 87p (sorry to break the forum rules on monetary amounts)

Sweet revenge!!

Just missed my clean sheet for Germany through a stupid handball :D damn it! Yet again, convincing defensive performance though. Should continue in the semifinals, even without Hummels then.
