win ! :D
Bad day for The Bookies. I got it in real life while my pick wan the Grand National. :)

So
bank = 4744
stake = 100
profit = 110
top up = 100

new bank for week 37 = 5054 geckoins

Stats after 36 weeks
LSP +9.01, 20W1D15L, profit 1354 geckoins , roi 38 % .

Last line crossed :D , no way The Bookies can beat me in number of bets won.

I wonder if I should make stronger stakes, without regard of the actual bets, in the last weeks so to give them a chance to recover part of the geckoins. Say 300 each week ... :? A kind of double-or-tie "fin de fête"
What do you think, mates?

good luck :win:

Yes I 'll do so ...

Best bet I think it is Brum win around 0.8 but that is below my plans. Brum/Brum HT/FT is too risky and no goals are guaranteed to go for a AH home-1 with profit expectations.
So I prefer to bet on Blackburn home insured for the draw .

Then
Bet of the Week for week 37 , round 35

Event: Blackburn v Everton - april 17th, 2010
Market: AH
Bet: home+0
Odds: 1.1
Bookie: bet365
Stake: 300

new bank = 4754

good luck :win:

I was completely wrong  ! Neither Blackburn nor Birmingham.

Then adding top up

bank for week 38 , round 36 = 4854

Stats after 37 weeks
LSP +8.01, 20W1D16L, profit 1054 geckoins , roi 28 % .

good luck :win:

I think Bolton will win to nil , probably 1-0. Bolton defence has been 100% efficient against bottom table side teams in last 6 matches home.

So , bofw for week 38

Event: Bolton v Portsmouth - april 14th, 2010
Market: Total goals
Bet: under 2.5
Odds: 1.12
Bookie: Ladbrokes
Stake: 300

new bank = 4554

good luck :win:

Second error, well Bookies we'll see ...

Bank for week 39 including top up 4654

Stats after 38 weeks
LSP +7.01, 20W1D17L, profit 754 geckoins , roi 20 % .

good luck :win:

Last week of the season.
Continuing my plan despite unsuccessful recent weeks I shall raise my stake to give a gentle opportunity to the Bookies of getting close to a draw.
Talking about draws that will be my pick.

BofW 40

Event: Bolton v Birmingham - may 9th, 2010
Market: 1x2
Bet: draw
Odds: 2.4
Bookie: Victor Chandler
Stake: 400

new bank = 4054

good luck :win:

4th defeat in a row closed the season.
Overall result is positive in all senses and the recent lost confirm the fact that serious plans can lead to success and at the same time leave place to have some fun and potential interesting profits.
For the time being I am in debt of a deeper analysis of the season -hope I have time to do so- but I am proud of the result and more proud to have been consistent with the rules I imposed myself : stake non less than weekly top up and above evens odds in all selections .
After 40 weeks then:
Final bank
4054 geckoins
Final stats
LSP +5.01, 20W1D19L, profit 54 geckoins , roi 1 %

congratulations to gecko and eezzee that completed successfully this challenge and also well done avlfcdev till his time was required by his (also successful) girls.

thank you to those that, eventually, took a look at this thread, hope you have obtained the best part of it.

thank you OLBG

till next season

good luck :win:

Well done tips, like you I have suffered over the last few weeks but we all seem to have done well over the course of the season and I think we can say we had the edge over the bookies once again. :win:

congrats TIPSTONGA

another successful season and your stats would have looked better if you hadn't have increased your stakes at the end for a laugh so well done indeed mate

another cracking year and again proving you can beat the bookies on the straight premier league betting which is so difficult

top stuff
