Four lengths up just before the turn for home and got collared two strides before the line. One for the notebook in the coming weeks.

Thought I give the greyhounds a try with some view of a race coming up at Monmore this afternoon.

One for Today as the title states, here is the one from this afternoon racing.

MONMORE 3.58 480 metres

Trap One SCALA BRADY

Three year old black dog who can clock a time of 28.81 in A3 company back in September, was entered in a Open race but was bitten and never raced an just done a recent time trail of 28.91
has won over further than this.
Can be slow away but does pick up down the back straight and be a strong finisher, if the front runners are not to far ahead he can pick them up for sure.

Trap Two MALBAY MEENA

Three year old black bitch who has shown good trap speed in A4 races.
The climb to A3 company has found her out in the past and possibly again today.

Trap Three VIXONS JET

Two year old black bitch, who is lightly raced but she seems to miss the kick from the traps and she may not get a chance to put her head in front here.
She ca do a decent trial time of 28.72 but when in this grade she clocked 29.28

Trap Four GLAMEROUS VICKY

Brindled bitch of two years of age and she can be smartly into action as she showed on her last run when winning in A4 company, she was dropped down to this class after not getting her head in front in three A3 runs.
She is very capable and possibly worth in combination bets here.

Trap Five KEPLAR THREE

The first of two wide runners and this white and black dog is the ripe old age of five and won 19 races from 121 runs and three came in this class.
Has a time of 29.11 to his name which was achieved a run back in class four, where he stayed on well at the closing stages for a result.

Trap Six SPORTING LAURA

Three year old black bitch and a wide runner, who is not the fastest from the traps but she can pick up in the middle of the race to put herself into the equation.
Did win in this grade back in June and has been competitive in A2 company.

CONCLUSION

Trap one could be the answer to this A3 race with him having a clear run down the back straight and being strong in the finish.

Trap One SCALA BRADY

Forecast and tri-cast

Trap One SCALA BRADY
Trap Four GLAMEROUS VICKY
Trap Six SPORTING LAURA

Result

1st Trap Four GLAMEROUS VICKY
2nd Trap Three VIXONS JET
3rd Trap Six SPORTING LAURA

Trap One SCALA BRADY slow away and never picked up, trap four made an early move from the traps that sealed the race with her in front all the way. :lose:

Hopefully we can record a win good luck if playing.

No joy on Tuesday, the race for Wednesday comes from Hove.

A sprint race over 285 metres in D2 company, race four from here.

Hove 2.52.

Trap one, Trap Two and Trap Four have good times in trial races and Trap Four COYS has won in recent races and recorded a time of 16.83 not far away from his trial time of 16.58.
Trap Three and Trap Five have 16.79 and 16.64 recorded times in D3 company.
Trap Three KILLER CAIN has raced since his win in D2 races without a result, the lift for Trap Five MELBURY APPOLO saw him get beat last time out in this grade.

This leaves Trap Six PASS THE GIN who has not won for sometime but has been finding the trouble in his races.
He can do 16.69 in D2 company, plus back in June he won with a time of 16.45 in D1 and that can be a good angle to take, I know this is some time back but he looks a solid type here.
PASS THE GIN is the only wide runner and he can be quick into action and with this he is my shout for today.
Not a bad price of 5/1 to go to war with.

Selection

TRAP SIX PASS THE GIN.

Result

1st Trap One
2nd Trap Two
3rd Trap Three

Came out in a good line and Trap Six looked to get competitive but could not find that extra gear to make a strong play, was well suported in the market from 5/1 into 9/4 but no result with a fourth place position. :lose:

Hopefully it is third time lucky with selection
The track we are heading too is Towcester, a new course and holds some competitive greyhound racing

Towcester 1.24 D3 270 metres eleventh race

Trap One AVONGATE CUDI

New to the track and raced in D2 on first run in public here and done a time of 16.50
Been racing plenty other place, has potential but with still learning with track experience, may be caught out.
Open racer over further than this and may improve from his first run here.

Trap Two COALTOWN MINER

Not the quickest from the traps but does have middle pace, won in D4 company 16.67 time and seems to clock around this figure.
Been racing in the past in A7 races and with thinking along with the Trap One dog, would rather be with the newcomer than this one.

Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY

Blessed with middle pace in this D3 company and recorded a time of 16.44 in September with this class and could be of interest here
If getting a clear run she can be a force to reckon with here.

Trap Four TOPAZ BLUEY

Can spoil his chances with checking and not being the fastest trapper, could find himself playing catch up.

Trap Five SALACRES GREEGSY

Wide runner who has won in A2 company and quick into action, when tackling further but with sprinting still learning, mainly raced at Nottingham, new to tee track like the one dog, possibly a watching brief, as connections may be running him here in these races to sharpen him up.

Trap Six TIERMANA IVY

Wide bitch who destroyed a field in D4 company by winning with 4 1/2 lengths to spare in a time of 16.29 but has not shown anything of that stastus in four runs since, with two races in D2 and two in D3.
Made favourite last time out and had early pace but that was all.

CONCLUSION

Nothing of real pace in the field and happy to go with Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY who can come off the final part f the bend with a strong finish that could lead to her being on top of the podium.
Trap One AVONGATE CUDI could be accountable and may be there for the forecast, with the possibility of Trap Six TIERMANA IVY to hold her position

Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY
Trap One AVONGATE CUDI
Trap Six TIERMANA IVY

6 x reverse forecast
6 x reverse tri-cast
1 straight tri-cast

Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY to win :nb: :lose:

Result

1st Trap Five SALACRES GREEGSY 2/1
2nd Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY 4/1
3rd Trap Four TOPAZ BLUEY 8/1

The winner Trap Five SALACRES GREEGSY benefitted from Trap Four TOPAZ BLUEY taking a wide course off the final part of the bend that took the Trap Three FOOTFIELD DAISY wide and allowed the winner a clear run

A bit unlucky not of achieved a winning result yesterday but hopefully Friday can be a good one.

Going for the morning card at Harlow and the lucky last race there in the afternoon, sound English that morning and afternoon :D

Harlow 1.33 D3 "38 metres.

Five dog race, might be a better chance with one dog less.

Trap One Vacant

Trap Two PRONTO JIM took the raise in grade in his stride by winning and clocking a time of 15.50 which ws a few seconds slowly than his previous run when winning in D4 looking for the hat trick of wins here

Trap Three MARBELLA JIMMY runs his normal timed races of 15.50 around this figure but seems to lack sped from the boxes, plus has issues with finding trouble.

Trap Four LEMON JOAN she is back into D3 company after running fairly well in D4 and she has the ability and speed to be a big threat here, she can clock a decent time of 15.18 in this class and worth a look, she is like trap three a middle runner.

Trap Five STRATFIELD BEAUTY she is a wide runner and can operate well from the boxes and can sound a very good time, she clocked 15.11 in the past and also under this 15.11, with 14.97 in this grade.

Trap Six FABULOUS GUEST another wide runner, she can clock a normal time of around 15.40's which can bear well for her in D4 company but this class can see her struggling.

CONCLUSION

A good sprint race to finish the meeting off with and hopefully we can achieve a victory with Trap Five STRATFIELD BEAUTY she can be swift from the traps and with a good time in her cv she can warrant respect here.
She is a wide runner and could be missing any trouble and have the ability to hold a position and stay on the hare for a winning result, with Trap Four LEMON JOAN chasing her home.
No tri-cast only a five dog race.

Trap Five STRATFIELD BEAUTY
Trap Four LEMON JOAN

Straight forecast

Trap Five STRATFIELD BEAUTY to win 3/1

No hard like stories here today, clean run race and a couple of lengths separated the field at the line with Trap Three MARBELLA JIMMY being in the firing line throughout the race with Trap Four LEMON JOAN in second who was going at the winner from the start.
Trap Five STRATFIELD BEAUTY vame last and never really threatened.

Saturday plenty f sport on and the greyhound selected race for today is at Henlow.

Henlow 3.28 Race Six A1 460 metres.

Trap One Dyno Taylor

Won three races from last five races with his last in A3 company bit of a lift and the three year old is improving with times on his side, going up the ladder a fair way and may be a concern a rung to high.

Trap Two Holycross Brae

He can out the boxes alright but seems to find bother in races, if getting into action early could be ahead of the field at the first bend and with this move could be rewarding
Can record a time of 27.68 gives him hope.
Two year old with scope.

Trap Three Savana Quest

Been racing in Open races with him racing over further last time out, when very quick into action but nothing at the finish, maybe the concern again today.

Trap Four Drumcrow Bruce

Made a time of 27.48 back in July when winning in this class, has raced in Open's and is out of the traps well but seems to lack another gear to get home lately
May have to rely on trouble to scoot clear.

Trap Five Prince Skywalker

Another that can go well from the traps and has won races in A2 but seems to find this class out of reach at times along with Opens, maybe vulnerable once again in this class.

Trap Six Swift Jagged

Only wide runner in the field, won in A3 when leading all the way, now been lifted into this class and will need o find extra.
He has been the bookies favourite the last three times, favourite for this.

Conclusion

Trap Two Holycross Brae could be out before the trap one dog and with this he can be commanding the race when coming out of the first two bends and then lead all the way.
Competitive race and only going for the win and no forecast betting.

Trap Two Holycross Brae 3/1

Must of been gambled went off 131/8 favourite and looked to have a clean run but not good enough for a result :lose:

Not a good week, another loser.

Sunday now to hopefully hit the lime light of success, after a week of loosing results, surely the grannie cannot continue.
We have been unlucky with crowding and dogs that have been selected have market support.

Today, we will have to wait until the evening for a reward with fingers cross.

CENTRAL PARK 6.58 Arc Stayers Open race over 642 metres.

Trap one and Trap four have to show they get a trip of this nature, happy to take these two on .

Trap Two Charlies Boy won over this trip last time out and clocked a tie of 4277 and was out of trap one with the red jacket on, tonight with blue may not get a clear run and will need to improve on the clock to threaten.

Trap Three Scotchrath Sebus has raced over this distance and can clock around 40.48 in an open. Does have stamina to burn but might be vulnerable over this trip and a placing at best.

Trap Five Ronans Racer she is also blessed with stamina and speed but has never delivered in an Open, always a first but has to find a little more on the clock, Could be filling a place position, at best.

Trap Six March On Cherry she won her last race over 500 metres with her leading on the run in, she was a hot favourite to win before this but found trouble. She won the previous open race with her being quick out of the boxes and clocking a useful time of 39.93, this could bear well for a solid performance tonight.

CONCLUSION

I fancy Trap Six March On Cherry to excel here with her being out of the traps smartly and leading all the way.
The slight concern is she is one of four with middle runs and may have issues with a clear run but if she comes away from the traps she can dictate and stay, which can see her on top of the podium tonight.

Trap Six March On Cherry
Trap Five Ronans Racer
Trap Three Scotchrath Sebus

6 x 6 reverse forecast
6 x tri-cast
1 straight tri-cast

Trap Six March On Cherry to win 9/4 :nap:

BOOM we have a winner and I missed the race, had trouble in running so it seems but held on to win and supported into 7/4
Plus forecast came good with Trap Six, Trap Three in second place F/C: (6x3) £21.96
Also tri-cast came good with trap six, trap three and trap five T/C: (6x3x5) £59.55
But no return on the straight, all the same we have a return

Surprisingly back into action today.

After enjoying glory the other day with a winner and forecast, hopefully we can keep the trend going and not be a one hit wonder.

1.33 Central Park the lucky last here, being race 12 over 265 metres D1

Trap One Burnpark Lola

Has the ability to get from the traps in fine style and make a play, she clocks around 16.60's mark She manage to win three races back but maybe vulnerable to something quicker.

Trap Two Our Unique Jake

He could struggle as his recent best times that he has produced a couple of times is in the 16.70's

Trap Three Borna Jack

Raised in D1 and not the fastest from the traps, could be playing catch up, will be striding out well up the home straight but the bird may of flown.

Trap Four Run On Time

Has yet to win a sprint, been doing alright in trials but may not figure here.

Trap Five Ballymac Arnold

Every time he runs practically odds are very short and could be well capable of making an impact in this race
Done a 16.32 in D2 company but with D1 has a fair clock with 16.50's, this could bear well for him here.

Trap Six As Happy As Gail

The only wide runner of the field and she could be enjoying a clear run.
She done a time of 16.47 in D2 race last time out where she fired out the traps and won with a couple of lengths to spare.
I like to see bitches running as when they are top of their game, they have substance, could be her race here too.

CONCLUSION

Trap Six As Happy As Gail holds a very good chance of making this here D1 race hers, with being the only wide runner, who could miss any trouble and being swift from the traps can hold her own.
Trap Five Ballymac Arnold could be accountable with a place and hopefully not upsetting the result over Trap Six.
Trap One Burnpark Lola maybe making up the places.

Trap Six As Happy As Gail
Trap Five Ballymac Arnold
Trap One Burnpark Lola

6 x reverse forecast
6 reverse tri-cast
1 x straight tri-cast

Trap Six As Happy As Gail to win 3/1

Have a nice day.

Trap Six As Happy As Gail to win 3/1 BOOM comes good, led start to finish with Trap Two and Three filling the places, no forecast material today but a good price winning result.

Here we go for a hat trick of wins, would that be good

Heading to the North East of England and at Newcastle for a Brown Ale :D

NEWCASTLE 12.58 A3 480 metres Race 8

Trap One Steves Wee Sal

She seems to have lost some of her zest as she was a winner in A2 races but finding A3 a bit much at times, she won in A4 last time out and might be vulnerable here.

Trap Two Crooks Tyson

Like the bitch in trap one, this dog is four years of age and not the quickest from the traps and might be out paced and in trouble early on.

Trap Three Fourbet Layla

Only a pup and been in handicap company without threatening and even though she is a youngster, she may beat the inside dogs to the bend but can she keep the momentum going, is the question

Trap Four Galloway Dylan

Mixing it with handicaps and Open races along with trials, has early speed to put himself into connection but will be hoping for a clear run to do so, this is a step down the ladder, possibilities are there to threaten to be in touch of the podium.

Trap Five Lightfoot Sharyn

She has been competing in A2 lately and along with Open races and very capable of being a solid sort here.
She won an A2 race and done a time of 28.87 with opening time of 4.64 which can stand well here.

Trap Six Alnwick Mecca

The only wide runner in the field and has A2 win to his name with 29.01 and also with 29.14, very capable of giving a good account here.
Lately though seems to find one too good but stepping back into A3 could see him being a danger.

CONCLUSION

Looks a decent race over 480 metres and the dogs that interest me are the outside dogs of Trap four, Five and Six.
Trap Five Lightfoot Sharyn might be the one to have first run on the field and this can see her go well to winning this race with Trap Six Alnwick Mecca chasing her home with Trap Four Galloway Dylan back in third.

Trap Five Lightfoot Sharyn
Trap Six Alnwick Mecca
Trap Four Galloway Dylan

6 x 6 reverse forecast
6 x 6 reverse tri cast
1 straight tri cast

Trap Five Lightfoot Sharyn to win 4/1 :lose:

No hat trick of wins manage to get checked at the first bend by trap three and that was our fate.Six had the lead from that position and won with a length to spare from trap three.Trap five was supported into 11/4, made my 4/1 look good but that was all in looks.

1st Trap Six Alnwick Mecca
2nd Trap Three Fourbet Layla
3rd Trap Two Crooks Tyson

Back from a bruising after yesterday's race to try and get it right today.
Afternoon card at Romford could be fitting with the hope of success.

ROMFORD 3.48 Race 7 A2 400 metres.

Not going to bore you with thoughts for each greyhound but speed is of the essence and I believe Trap One and Trap Two may not have this in their calibre and could find they are playing catch up, especially in this grade, they can hold there form well enough in A3 probably but going up a rung can cause an issue.
Trap Three Droopy's Garden she is only a pup and even though she can spring the lids in A3 she may not be fast enough to get a battering here and being a youngster she may not be able to handle this at present time.
Trap four does not win that often and could be found wanting if the speedsters get first run on her.
Trap Five however is fast out the traps but she seems to run out of fuel where it matters and this leaves the way open for the strip jacket of Trap Six Lift The Roof, who is also quick into action and can run a very good race and he has won in this grade and clock some decent times that can see him excel here .
LIFT THE ROOF and GUMP EXPRESS of trap one are the oldest with being three year olds and my selection TRAP SIX LIFT THE ROOF has been around and can give a good account , amazingly he is the outsider of teh field at 6/1 a great price to have in a greyhound race.

TRAP SIX LIFT THE ROOF 6/1

Trap six was the quickest into stride and had to run wide throughout but never involved to give a shout to, Trap one moved on and a couple of lengths in hand at the finish. :lose:
