It never hurts to take a break mate. From experience I would not try to bet through it as your mind is not as focused as it should be and you may take risks that you don't normally do.As you are already thinking about then its probably a good idea to take a back seat and watching brief for now until you think you are ready to commit yourself and your money once again

Yes agree take a break, while chasing losers.
It does you good, have short break.
As I mostly keep eye on weekend races.

1: But always follow ones you like, in case they hit form!!

I got fed up of seeing a tipping website tip loads of horse winners so started following them this week 9 bets 9 losers, more encouraging though was that 3 got placed. work commitments mean it's hard to bet every day trouble is this means I keep missing out on big priced winners.

When younger I used to have the same issue... scared I'd miss out on winners, but you have to take the longer view on this. If you miss out on anything you are much more likely to be missing out on losers more than winners. You'll always remember the winners 'that got way' but rarely all the losers. My motto changed a while back to this: You are never guaranteed to back a winner, but you are very definitely guaranteed to back a loser.

If you have lost some confidence then it is the time to step back. Don't worry about possble lost winners because betting opportunities will always be there in the future.

I follow two horse tipsters every Saturday without fail one I started following his surname similar to Seagull :) second one surname similar to Bigfoot I started following in mid August Last Year. Also followed one other horse tipster most of the last three weeks his twitter name weather related as in wet weather. followed a golf tipster successfully before this year and started followingly a tipping websites golf tips this year. so basically this year following way more tipsters than my entire life.

I am guessing I could drop a couple of the tipsters as on a bad losing run but sods law the ones I drop would now be brilliant the rest of the year.

What I now do when on a bad run is simply changing the sport. Last month I lost a fortune on football but managed to recover with some solid basketball bets.
