Adelaide vs Newcastle (A League 11/11 0635)

Adelaide have only won 1 of their opening 5 games and have suffered 2 straight defeats. They are yet to win at home either having played both of the Melbourne teams here without really giving them much of a challenge. The Jets have made a great start with 3 wins from their 5 games and no loss. They have won both of their away games and a win here should keep them in the mix as the early pace setters.

Newcastle Jets to win@3.17 (Pinnacle)

English Lge Two
Crawley Town vs Forest Green Rovers
KO Sat 11th Nov

Both teams come into this game at the wrong end of the table, but are in differing states of confidence and form. Crawley Town have drawn their last two Lge games, but have only won one of their last seven Lge games. Forest Green have won their last three Lge games, two of which were away at Coventry (6th) & Stevenage (11th) and Crawley have the worst home record in the Lge, winning just once in 8 home Lge games. Scoring goals in a serious problem for Crawley and they have scored just 12 goals in 16 Lge games so far and none in their last 4. Forest Green are no worlbeaters, but at the odds they look good value.

Conference Barrow V's macclesfield 3.00 11/11 Macc 2/1 Marathon bet.

mac have had little stutter losing their last two games. One away at Dagenham an Redbridge , they had won their last 4 away games before that these games were against lower league opposition which is where where Barrow sit, although they are decent at home losing only 1 match in 9. i am hoping that Macc get themselves back on the charge and get all three points.

I watched couple of Videos on Maccs website, that manager wasn't very convincing, but one of the players reckons that the team is playing well just not scoring goals. That is reflected in their stats, they are averaging a goal a game, barrow let in more than a goal a game so with the manager having a full squad to call on , they are hoping for goals.

Barrow also score more than a goal a game so it could be BTTS...

But I will hope for a Macc win.

Saturday
Friendly
Macedonia - Norway
17:30
Macedonia @2.94 in Pinnacle

Macedonia hosts Norway on saturday evening as both sides are using this game for the preperation ahead of the new nation league which starts next autumn. Both sides have lost just 1 of the last 6 games and although they both had decent ends to their qualifying campaigns then Macedonia still finished on 5th place despite going the last 4 qualifiers unbeaten while Norway finished 4th in their group. Macedonia have won 3 and lost 3 of the last 7 friendlies at home. Norway haven't won friendly away from home since january 2014 as they've lost 5 and drew 2 of the last 7 friendlies on the road. Also in 5 of those 7 friendlies they failed to score either. Also Norway and november friendlies just seem not to belong together because since 20.11.02 when they defeated Austria 1:0 Norway have played 11 friendlies in november and they have lost 54% of them(6). Historically these sides have met 3 times so far with norwegians winning the most recent 2. However first ever h2h game between these nations was a goalless draw in Macedonia 8 years ago so i expect hosts to avoid defeat this weekend aswell.

English Lge Two
Crawley Town vs Forest Green Rovers
KO Sat 11th Nov

Sorry to do the same as Devilimp but I really like the chances of Forest Green. Crawley have scored only once in 6 games and none in their last 4. Crawley have an awful home record having lost 6 of 8.
Forest Green struggled to get to grips with League two but with 3 wins on the bounce (2 away from home) and only 1 defeat in their last 5 away games in looks like there adapting well and the 14/5 at William Hill looks massive.

I go to the Thai Premier League for my underdog this weekend

Thai Navy v Suphanburi

You could argue a case for both teams in this closely matched game, Thai Navy have lost only 3 of 15 home games this season with the 3 defeats coming to the current top, second and 5th placed teams.
Suphanburi, currently one place above Siam Navy, remain unbeaten in the 12 games played against teams currently below them in the league (W8 D4 L0) and in their most recent 2 games(both at home), they held 3rd placed Bangkok Utd to a 1-1 draw and were beaten only 1-0 to run away league leaders Buriram Utd
A low scoring draw looks highly likely but I will go for Suphanburi to take their second win of the season against Thai Navy (Suphanburi won the home fixture 2-0) at the odds of 7/4 (2.75) [bet365] in the hope they continue their recent away goal scoring form of scoring in each of their last 6 away games with a total of 10 goals scored

Suphanburi to win away at 7/4 or 2.75, Saturday 11:00am

Saturday November 11th kick off 3pm

English League One

Oxford v Northampton

My first choice selection would have been Forest Green but as a couple of other posters have already put that one up, I'll go with one of my other possibilities. Wouldn't be much of a competition if we all put up the same selection. Northampton are no world beaters but they are in decent form having taken 4 points from their last two away matches. A creditable home draw against Scunthorpe in the FA Cup and a recovery from 3-0 down to win on penalties against Southampton's under 21s (not the Saints ever produce any decent youngsters!) in the EFL Trophy suggest there's nothing wrong with the spirit or confidence in the Cobblers' camp. Their hosts are not in a great run of form having lost their last 3 in the league and cup. They have only won one home game out of their last 7 in all competitions and that was just over a month ago. If the away side needed a boost before going into this one, they have won this fixture in each of the previous two seasons.

Despite the lack of league action today, there are a couple of other possibilities. Plymouth, despite being bottom, are in a good little run of form and look fair value against a Bradford side who are third in the table but are not completely bombproof at home. In League 2, Crewe look overpriced at home to Lincoln. The Alex owe their lowly position to a desperate away record and are not bad on their home patch. Recent victims include top of the table Notts County and League One Rotherham. Lincoln average less than a goal a game on their travels and are not my idea of a reliable short odds poke.

Selection: Northampton to win @ 18/5 (Unibet)

Saturday 11th November, ko 3pm
English League 1
Blackpool v Portsmouth

Blackpool to win @ 2/1 bet365, Betfair

Portsmouth won 1-0 midweek at Charlton in the EFL trophy to stop a run of four straight defeats which included the FA Cup tie at League 2 Luton last weekend. They have really struggled on the road in League 1, winning twice and only against sides currently residing in the bottom five. They have lost three of the four on the road played against sides currently above them and although took a point at high flying Wigan that was only after the home side went down to ten men. Blackpool have lost four of their last seven but at home they are a tough nut to crack winning five of their seven and losing only to Wigan. They've won four and drawn the other of the five games played against sides currently below them conceding just twice and seeing as Pompey struggle for goals on the road with just six in eight games and failing to score in those three defeats against the sides above them, it's hard to see why the 'Pool' are not favs here.

Surprised myself not to find Blackpool more hotly tipped on here. I thought a signficant reason Blackpool were outsiders was a court case this week was expected to go in favour of the owners so there were going to be huge protests in the ground today. However Blackpool fans got the outcome they wanted, the Oystens losing and preparing to sell up. To quote a Guardian headline from their court case article:
"Blackpool fans celebrate after club is put up for sale by Oyston family;
• ‘It’s like Christmas and birthdays all come early at once,’ say fans."

Should be a feel good atmosphere for the home team today.

Sunday 12th Nov
National Challenge Cup - 1/4 Final
The Park Hall Stadium KO. 2.45
The New Saints V Queen of the South

TNS a Welsh side lost last week against Barry in league which see them in 3rd place on 26pts but have a game in hand if they win they go top of Welsh League , This Cup is for teams in Wales N.Ireland Rep Ireland and Scotland, TNS have already had two home ties which saw off two Scottish teams Livingston was 1-1 after 90' and ET and teams went to penalties which TNS won 6-5 after 8 penalties each the other game a easy 4-0 win over Elgin ,

Queen of the South have played a round more than TNS as they got bye , They’re going well in the Championship and should be focused on making the semis and potentially going all the way under Gary Naysmith they beat three Scottish side to get here but have had scouts at TNS and they did their homework watching videos on them playing the Scottish in this cup , being Scottish I 'll take a chance on Queen of the South

William Hill 6/5 (1) - 5/2 (X) - 21/10 (2)

Queen of the South @ 21/10 win
