Carabao Cup

Tottenham v West Ham

1x2........West Ham
HT/FT....Draw / West Ham
O/U.......Under
C S........Tottenham 1 West Ham 2

Yesterday saw some surprising outcomes in the comp with Man City needing penalties to see off Wolves and Arsenal were taken to extra time by Norwich. These should give Hammers some self confidence against Spurs who are unbeaten in eleven matches. They also have an important league match on Saturday against Man United, so mostly their focus will be on that match and with Bilic under pressure after home loss to Brighton, I am sure he will be out to ensure his side do their best and well he can confidence from the fact that last time these two met in the comp Hammers beat Spurs at their own turf.

Game 26’ – Friday 27th October
Championship – Sky Sports Football
Leeds United v Sheffield United – 19:45pm

1X2.......................Draw
HT/FT...................Draw/Draw
Overs/Unders....Unders
Correct Score....0-0

Its hard to know which Leeds will turn up after four defeats and win in last five games with three lost and one win in league sees them sitting in 4th place on 23pts , Leeds have had six league games at home with three wins two draws and a lost ,

Sheffield United lie in 3rd place on 27pts and have won four of the last five games with other game a defeat in the away games they've played six with three wins and three lost ,

In H2H at Elland Road they've meet three times with one win a piece and a draw but those games where two in 2005 and one in 2010 so nothing really to go on and so close in league a draw looks the outcome to me

Game 27’ – Saturday 28th October
Premier League – Sky Sports
Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur – 12.30pm

1X2.......................Man Utd
HT/FT...................Draw/Man Utd
Overs/Unders....Unders
Correct Score....1-0

These two sit 2nd and 3rd in league on 20pts with Man Utd having the better goal difference with both of them 5pts behind leaders Man City , Its also the first big away test for Tottenham in league as four away games played where against teams in bottom half of league when games where played Newcastle ,Everton , West Ham and Bournemouth its only Newcastle that got themselves out of bottom half of league ,

Man Utd have key players still out injured but won in cup away at Swansea 0-2 on Tuesday and Jose rested a few players and gave some fringe players a game I would think home advantage will be a boost for Man Utd and a extra day rest , In H2H the last five matches has saw the home team win Man Utd 3 and Tottenham 2 with the three Man Utd wins here to nil

Leeds United v Sheffield United – 19:45pm

1X2: Leeds
HT/FT: Leeds/Leeds
Overs/Unders: Unders
Correct Score: 1-0

Sheffield United are sat in 3rd place in the Championship, just 2 points off the top and they're 4 points ahead of their opponents tonight, Leeds who sit in 4th place. The newly promoted side have had a fantastic start to life back in the Championship after a fair few years in League One and it's being noticed by all. Their last 6 Championship games have seen 4 wins and 2 defeats while Leeds United have won 2 and lost 4. However, Leeds have lost only once at Elland Road this season and that was a 0-1 defeat to Reading, overall their home form is decent as it was last season. I think this will be very tight and based only on Leeds having home advantage, I'll go with a narrow home win here.

Leeds v Sheffield Utd
1X2: DRAW
HT/FT: DRAW/DRAW
Over/Under: UNDER
Correct Score : 1-1
The reasoning: Only 4 points separate third-placed Sheffield Utd from fourth-placed Leeds who have only lost one home game. Both sides come into this having won their last championship match. Leeds won 0-3 away at Bristol City. Sheffield Utd won 2-1 at home to Reading. The GD stats from their respective 13 games played aren’t too dissimilar. For Leeds it’s 21:12 (+9). For Sheffield Utd it’s 18:11 (+7). Given that Leeds haven’t drawn in their last 10 Championship matches and Sheffield Utd haven’t drawn in their last 13, a stalemate looks well overdue. I’ll go with 1-1.

This is a Yorkshire derby from my neck of the woods and I expect it to be a very tight game of few goals.Leeds have lost 4 of their last 5 matches and their 1-0 home loss to Reading last game was very disappointing for the fans.In contrast Sheff Utd have won 4 of their last 5 matches and 3 of their last 4 away games. They have a good record at Elland Road with a win and a draw here in the last 3 meetings.I think they can get a positive result tonight and come away with the 3 points.

1X2 - Leeds United
HT/FT - Sheffield United / Leeds United
Overs/Unders - Over
Correct Score - 2-1

This will be the first meeting between these two teams, and both are performing in or around the same level at this moment in time. It looks very much like a low scoring affair, as both will want to win their first meeting. In the Championship just 4 points separate them, and those points are the two games that Leeds had a draw and Sheffield had wins, as both had 4 losses. Its Sheffield who are in 3rd position in their domestic league, with 27 points, and Leeds are in 4th position with 23 points.A loss here for Leeds could be very damaging to their current position, as the 4 teams just below them with a win would push Leeds down to 8th spot.

However a draw for Leeds would mean they couldn't be pushed further down than 6th place, but still that's something they will want to avoid. Sheffield Utd on the other hand could go directly to the top spot with a win, even if it was just temporary, until Cardiff and Wolves return their results. A loss for Sheffield Utd would see them stay where they are in 3rd place regardless of all other results, so it is them that have a little more comfort with the outcome should it go against them, but of course they won't want to lose that edge in this competitive league.

Leeds could retain their 3rd place in this league with a win, and move to within just one point of today's visitors, and that may give them enough incentive to pinch the points here, along with home advantage and maybe too it could be argued they are performing just that little bit better than Sheff Utd at present, although its only a small margin, and it is a very close looking game between these two teams.

Leeds United v Sheffield United

C S.........Leeds United 0 Sheffield United 1

3rd placed Sheffield united travel to Elland Road to face Leeds who are in 4th with both sides in contrasting form.
Leeds have lost four out of their last five matches in all competitions while the Blades have won four out of their last five matches.
Leeds lost at home in the league for the first time last time out against lowly Reading and it remains to be seen how they pick themselves from that defeat and though the Blades have won three and lost three in six trips, they will be in better spirits coming into this match as they are in better form and they know that a win would take them to the top temporarily but still its an incentive.

Sheffield United went top of the Championship thanks to David Brooks' late winner at Yorkshire rivals Leeds. Billy Sharp put the visitors in front with a second-minute header that keeper Andy Lonergan could not keep out, as the Blades controlled the early stages. Kalvin Phillips equalised for the hosts with a cleanly-struck volley from the edge of the area before the break. Samuel Saiz's swerving strike hit the post for Leeds before substitute Brooks won the game with a calm, low finish.

This is a going to be a real test of the title credentials of Man Utd.They usually do well against Spurs at home but this is the best Tottenham team in years.Spurs will have their best 11 out after playing fringe players in the league cup midweek but wont have goal machine Harry Kane available. So if they can win here they will really confirm that they are in the title race.I expect a tight game of few goals.Pochettino is proving a master tactician. He set his team up to beat Liverpool knowing exactly how they were going to play and the same against Dortmund in the CL.I can see him outwitting Mourinho tactically too.Spurs are looking for their 5th league win on the spin.Man Utd have not won in any of their last 2 league games. It might be classed as a shock if Spurs win but not for me.

Manchester Utd v Tottenham Hotspur
1X2: HOME
HT/FT: DRAW/HOME
Over/Under: UNDER
Correct Score : 2-0
The reasoning: Both teams are on the same number of points (20), but Man Utd have the edge on goal difference and so are in second place while Spurs are in third place. After nine games of the season played, Man Utd’s GD is 22:4 while Spurs are on 19:6. Man Utd have put in four stellar performances at home, posting four wins and not even conceding a single goal. Of course, Spurs have four from four away wins, but today they’re without Harry Kane who is out through injury. So I reckon that gives the edge to Man Utd and their defence will keep Spurs at bay. Spurs haven’t scored at Old Trafford in their last two visits.
