Championship – Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 12:15pm

1X2 Leeds
HT/FT Draw /Leeds
UNDER/OVER Over
CORRECT SCORE 1-2

Sheffield Wed have won 3 drawn 2 and lost 2 of their last 7 league games played, and sit 14th in the Championship with 13 points, losing their last match played 1-0 away against Birmingham. Leeds have won 5 and lost 2 of their last 7 league games played, and sit 3rd in the Championship with 20 points, losing their last match played 3-1 away against Cardiff. Sheffield Wed have won 2 drawn 2 and lost 1 of their 5 home league games played. Leeds have won 3 and lost 2 of their 5 league away games played. Leeds did the double over Sheffield Wed last season winning this fixture 0-2 and 1-0 at home. Both teams come into this match losing 2 of their last 3 league games, Leeds have scored more goals so far in the league than Sheffield Wed and conceded less goals. I am taking Leeds to win this match today.

Sunday 1st October – Premier League – Newcastle United v Liverpool - 16:30pm

1X2 Liverpool
HT/FT Liverpool/ Liverpool
UNDER/OVER Over
CORRECT SCORE 1-3

Newcastle have won 3 and lost 3 of their 6 league games played, and sit 10th in the Premiership with 9 points, losing their last match played 1-0 away against Brighton. Liverpool have won 3 drawn 2 and lost 1 of their 6 league games played, and sit 5th in the Premiership with 11 points, winning their last league game played 2-3 away against Leicester. Newcastle have won 2 and lost 1 of their 3 home league games played, Liverpool have won 1 drawn 1 and lost 1 of their 3 league away game played. Newcastle won this fixture last season 2-0 and drew 2-2 away against Liverpool. Newcastle had a run of luck winning 3 matches on the bounce,Liverpool have played harder matches and won their last league game away . I am taking Liverpool to win this match today.

DOUBLE HEADER

Game 1’ – Sunday 1st October – Championship – Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 12:15pm - Sky Sports Football

1x2: Leeds
HT/FT: Leeds/Leeds
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 1-2

Sheffield Wednesday starts the new month with a homegame against Leeds United. Both teams have lost 2 of the last 5 games and i'm sure thst they both will not want to start october just like they ended september - with a defeat. Also Sheffield Wednesday is winless in the last 3 games. Leeds have lost just 2 leaguegames so far this season but both these losses came during the last 3 games in the championship. Also while Sheffield Wed have lost the last 2 home leaguegames then Leeds have done exactly the same on the road. Leeds won both h2h games to nil last season and although it's history for now then i still expect Leeds to win here. Leeds to win.

Game 2’ – Sunday 1st October – Premier League – Newcastle United v Liverpool - 16:30pm - Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event

1x2: Liverpool
HT/FT: Liverpool/Liverpool
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 1-2

Newcastle starts the new month with a homegame against Liverpool. Newcastle have won 3 of the last 5 games but after losing the last game in september i'm more than confident that they do not want to start october just like they ended september... Liverpool played not-so-far away in Moscow earlier this week and although they're still winless in CL then atleast they're unbeaten aswell but that doesn't change the fact that Liverpool have won just 1 of the last 5 games although they did lose just once during that time aswell.. Last 6 h2h games record is 2-2-2 from the either team's point of view so i'm expecting another close game with visitors getting narrow win here. Liverpool to win.

SHEFF WED v LEEDS UTD

1x2: Leeds Utd
HT/FT: Leeds Utd / Leeds Utd
Over/Under: Over 2.5
Correct Score: 1 ~ 2

Sheff Wed have Won 2, Drawn 1 and Lost 2 of their Last 5 League Games having Scored 8 Goals whilst Conceeding 8 Goals, Whilst Leeds Utd have Won 3 and Lost 2 of their Last 5 League Games having Scored 6 Goals, Which would suggest that Leeds Utd have shown slightly better form, firepower and defense in those respective Last 5 League Games, Which is somewhat supported by the fact that although Both Teams have Scored at least 2 Goals in 3 of those respective Last 5 League Games but it is worth noting that Sheff Wed have Failed to keep Any Clean Sheets in those 5 Games whilst Leeds Utd have kept 2 Clean Sheets, Which again would suggest that Leeds Utd have shown slightly better form in those respective Last 5 League Games and as such am edged towards likely Leeds Utd Win, Which again is supported by the fact that Leeds Utd notably done the double against todays opposition Last Season with 1-0 Home Win at Elland Road and 0-2 Away Win here at Hillsbrough Stadium and as such am expecting likely Leeds Utd Win.
Whilst looking for Scoreline, Although Leeds Utd have kept Clean Sheets in Both Home and Away Meetings Last Season (1-0, 0-2) and have kept 2 Clean Sheets in their Last 5 League Games, The fact that Both Sheff Wed and Leeds Utd have Scored in 4 of their respective Last 5 League Games with Both Teams having Scored at least 2 Goals in 3 of those respective Last 5 League Games, Edges me in favour of Both Teams likely Scoring this evening, But with Leeds Utd having shown slightly better form, firepower and defense in their respective Last 5 League Games with the fact that Leeds Utd Won 3 of their Last 5 Meetings including having Won 2 of Last 3 Away Meetings which also includes having Won each of their 2 Meetings Last Season, Edges me in favour of likely Leeds Win with Both Teams Scoring and although tempted with 2-3 Scoreline due to Both Teams tendency to Score at least 2 Goals throughout many of their respective Games throughout Season, But with Sheff Wed having recent tendency to Conceed No more than 2 Goals edges me in favour of 1 - 2 Scoreline in Leeds Utd's favour.

========================================

NEWCASTLE v LIVERPOOL

1x2: Liverpool
HT/FT: Liverpool / Liverpool
Over/Under: Over 2.5
Correct Score: 1 ~ 4

Newcsstle have Won 3 (West Ham, Swansea, Stoke) and Lost 3 (Tottenham, Huddersfield, Brighton) of their opening 6 League Games whilst Liverpool have Won 3 (Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Leicester City), Drawn 2 (Watford, Burnley) and Lost just 1 (Man City) of their opening 6 League Games, Which would suggest that Liverpool have shown marginally better form in those respective opening 6 League Games (against arguebly tougher opposition), Which is supported by the fact that Newcastle have Scored just 6 Goals in those 6 Games and have notably Failed to Score in 3 of those 6 Games and Scored more than 1 Goal in just 2 of those 6 Games, Whilst Liverpool have Scored have Scored 12 Goals in those 6 Games having Scored in 5 of those 6 Games and Scored at least 3 Goals in 3 of those 6 Games, Which again would suggest that Liverpool have shown marginally better form and firepower in those respective opening 6 League Games and with Liverpool also having vastly superiour attacking-frontline including (Sturridge) Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino am expecting likely Liverpool Win this evening.
Whilst looking for Scoreline, With Newcastle having Failed to Score in 3 of their opening 6 League Games a Liverpool Clean Sheet would be the obvious selection, But it is worth noting that Liverpool have Conceeded 11 Goals in their 6 League Games thus far this Season and have kept just 2 Clean Sheets and have notoriously fragile defense and as consequence am expecting likelihood of Both Teams Conceeding as seen in 4 of their respective opening 6 League Games and as seen in Last Meeting (2-2), But with Newcastle having Scored more than 1 Goal in just 2 of those 6 Games whilst Liverpool have Scored at least 3 Goals in 3 of those 6 Games with the fact that Liverpool have seriously impressive attacking-frontline including (Sturridge) Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino edges me in favour of comfortable Liverpool Win with around 3-1 or 4-1 Scoreline, And although tempted with 1-3 Scoreline, The fact that Liverpool have such an impressive attacking-frontline edges me in favour of likely 1 - 4 Scoreline in Liverpool's favour.

TRANMERE ROVERS v LEYTON ORIENT

1x2: Leyton Orient
HT/FT: Leyton Orient / Leyton Orient
Over/Under: Over 2.5
Correct Score: 1 ~ 2

Tranmere Rovers have Won 1, Drawn 1 and Lost 2 of their Last 4 Home League Games having Scored just 3 Goals whilst Conceeding 4 Goals, Whilst Leyton Orient have Won 2, Drawn 1 and Post just 1 of their Last 4 Away League Games having Scored 5 Goals whilst Conceeding 4 Goals, Which would suggest that Leyton Orient have shown slightly better form in those respective Last 4 Home and Away League Games, Which is supported by the fact that Tranmere Rovers have Failed to Score in 2 of those 4 Home Games and Scored more than 1 Goal in just 1 of those 4 Home Games and kept just 1 Clean Sheet, Whilst Leyton Orient have Scored in 3 of those 4 Away Games and Scored at least 2 Goals in 2 of those 4 Away Games and kept 2 Clean Sheets, Which again would suggest that Leyton Orient have shown marginally better form, firepower and defense in those respective Last 4 Home and Away League Games and as such am expectinv likely Leyton Orient Win as seen in All of their Last 3 Meetings (2-1, 0-4, 2-0) in 2013/14.
Whilst looking for Scoreline, With Both Tranmere Rovers and Leyton Orient having Conceeded 4 Goals in their respective Last 4 Home and Away League Games in which Tranmere Rovers have Conceeded in 3 of those 4 Home Games and in which Leyton Orient have Conceeded in 2 of those 4 Away Games, Edges me in favour of Both Teams likely Conceeding this evening, But with Tranmere Rovers having Scored more than 1 Goal in just 1 of those 4 Home Games in which Tranmere Rovers have Won just 1 of those 4 Home Games whilst Leyton Orient have Scored at least 2 Goals in 2 of those 4 Away Games in which Leyton Orient have Won 2 of those 4 Away Games, With the fact that Leyton Orient have Scored at least 2 Goals in All of their Last 3 Meetings whilst having Conceeded No more than 1 Goal in Any of those Last 3 Meetings (2-1, 0-4, 2-0), With Leyton Orient having in-form Ex-Colchester Striker Macauley Bonne (7 Goals in 12 Games) avaliable, Edges me in favour of likely Leyton Orient Win with around 1 - 2 Scoreline.

Game 1’ – Sunday 1st October – Championship – Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 12:15pm - Sky Sports Football

1X2: Draw
HT/FT: Draw/Draw
Unders/Overs: Under
Correct Score: 1-1

A Yorkshire Derby and like so many derby matches form tends to go out the window. Wednesday are 15th in the table 7 pointa and 11 places behind 4th placed Leeds. They go into this match on the back of a 4-2 defeat in their last home game against Sheffield United. Leeds lost their last away game in midweek 3-1 at leaders Cardiff. I am going for a close game and a draw at the end of the game. Two of the last 6 head to heads have been draws with only 1 going over 2.5 goals.

AND

Game 2’ – Sunday 1st October – Premier League – Newcastle United v Liverpool - 16:30pm - Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event

1X2: Draw
HT/FT: Draw/Draw
Unders/Overs: Under
Correct Score: 1-1

Newcastle are 8th in the table with 9 points two points less then Liverpool who are 6th. Liverpool played in the Champions League in mid week picking up a 1-1 draw in Russia against Spartak Moscow. However neither side is in consistent form. Liverpool have won just 1 game in all competitions since they beat Arsenal 4-0 5 games ago. Newcastle have been in slightly better form with 3 wins in their last 4 games but were disappointing in their last league game when they lost 1-0 at Brighton in the league. I am again going for a draw. Two of the last 6 games between these sides have ended all square and only 2 of those 6 have gone over 2.5 goals.

Well Done last months winners and thanks Hogsback for doing last months marking

Game 1’ – Sunday 1st October
Championship – Sky Sports Football
Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 12:15pm

1X2:..................Leeds
HT/FT:...............Leeds/Leeds
Overs/Unders:...Unders
Correct Score:...0-2

Leeds United can get into 2nd place by beating a Sheffield Wednesday side that still could not come to terms after local neighbours Sheffield Utd beat them last weekend 2-4 at Hillsborough then lost to Birmingham 1-0 at St Andrews Stadium , There back at Hillsborough today looking to stop a three game losing run and get back into top half again ,

Leeds lie 4th on 20pts but slipped up in midweek losing to 1-3 at Cardiff and with Cardiff dropping 2pts on Saturday Leeds can get back into title race and 2nd place on 23pts as they'll have a better goal difference than Wolves who hold 2nd place , In H2H Leeds won home and away last season and I can see that happening again

Game 2’ – Sunday 1st October
Premier League – Sky Sports Premier League
Newcastle United v Liverpool - 16:30pm

1X2:...................Liverpool
HT/FT:...............Liverpool/Liverpool
Overs/Unders:...Overs
Correct Score:...1-3

Liverpool have won 24 and lost 11 of their 43 Premier League meetings with Newcastle United and could add another win today and could jump to 4th place on 14pts same as Tottenham in 3rd place on better goal difference and push Chelsea out of top four,

Newcastle after a poor start losing first two league games and a league cup game went on a three game league wins before losing last week to Brighton but are in 8th place on 9pts after results went their way on Saturday and home win today could see them leap frog opponents with win ,

Newcastle will attack playing at home and we all know Klopp style of football setting out his teams is attack and score more than opposition so I expect open game with goals and Liverpool win

Game 3’ – Wednesday 4th October – National League – Tranmere Rovers v Leyton Orient - 19:45pm - BT Sport 1 / BT Sport 4K UHD

1x2: Tranmere Rovers
HT/FT: Tranmere/Tranmere
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Tranmere Rovers hosts Leyton Orient on wednesday. Each of the last 7 games for Tranmere stayed under 2.5 goals as they won 3 and lost 3 matches during that time. Also Tranmere have won 4 and lost 5 of the 13 games in the league so far this season. Although Tranmere have won 1/3 of the 6 home leaguegames so far this season then they still have won just 1 and lost 3 of the last 5 home leaguegames. At the same time Leyton Orient have gone backwards because after going 4 games unbeaten they have now gone 5 games without a win. Both sides have won 5 of the last 10 h2h games so i'm expecting another close game between these teams with hosts winning it eventually.

Game 4’ – Thursday 5th October – FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifier – Scotland v Slovakia - 19:45pm - Sky Sports Main Event

1x2: Scotland
HT/FT: Scotland/Scotland
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Scotland hosts Slovakia. With 2 games to go in the qualifiers only 1 point separates these teams and Slovenia so basically three teams are fighting for that playoff spot in group F. I would say that advantage is on Slovakia because they can easily lose this match and then wrap up a playoff spot in a homegame against Malta assuming that Scotland doesn't win away against Slovenia at the same time ofcourse. Scotland have won 4 and lost 2 qualifiers so far while Slovakia have won 5 and lost 3 of their 8 qualifiers. Earlier in the qualifiers Slovakia won 3:0 but i still hope that we don't see another one-sided match again on thursday...

DOUBLE HEADER

Game 1’ – Sunday 1st October – Championship – Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 12:15pm - Sky Sports Football

1X2 - Leeds United
HT/FT - Leeds United / Leeds United
Overs/Unders - Over
Correct Score - 1-2

In their last 6 meetings Sheffield Wednesday have beaten Leeds on just 1 occasion the remaining 5 games were split by way of 2 draws and 3 losses. Things really don't look too bright in this meeting of the two either, with Sheffield badly hit by injuries with the likes of Loovens, Abdi and Hutchinson all doubtful, along with goalkeeper Westwood, also Forestieri ad Boyd, so plenty of gap filling for the manager for this game.

Leeds Skipper Cooper was dismissed in midweek when they were beaten by Cardiff and he receives a one match ban although the Everton loaned Pennington will possibly take part in this game but Ekuban is still not fit with his foot injury.

If it matters or not, this is the 5th time these two teams meet on a Sunday the other 4 all won by Leeds but that stat goes back to 1992. the others were in '98 '00 and 06.

Leeds have lost their last two away games, and didn't look too good against Cardiff in the midweek game, hopefully for them they will have learned something from that and will get more defense minded for this game, it's a good chance for them to get all three points with their rivals having to make a lot of changes because of the injury list, and Leeds can exploit the Owls here and just about win it.

AND

Game 2’ – Sunday 1st October – Premier League – Newcastle United v Liverpool - 16:30pm - Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event

1X2 - Liverpool
HT/FT - Liverpool / Liverpool
Overs/Unders - Over
Correct Score - 1-2

My own team away to Newcastle, always a tough game between these two, and Liverpool need to pick up the baton and get on with it here, they have had good winning chances in their recent games and failed to take them. Klopp has built a top end front forward line, a mediocre midfield and if you look around you might find one or two defenders worth having but they are scarce. What is it with Liverpool, they just can't seem to figure a way around any team that sits deep, and it's not entertaining to watch a team that is made up of 11 goalies, but it wins and gets draws, but Liverpool just simply can't seem to find a way through, and it's not impossible by any means, the other big clubs do it week in week out, but not Liverpool.

They are if anything, lucky to be where they are in the premier league at this moment, with the likes of Man City and Chelsea, Utd and Spurs, all punching above their weight from the off, and seemingly Liverpool the same old same old, but wait....a win here sees them sharing 3rd place with Spurs, yet they are under-performing, but somehow are right in there with a win here.

Liverpool have Mane back for this game, and that is a plus, if he is up to his best he is a dangerous striker for any team to cope with, and might be the undoing of Newcastle in this game, but it must be remembered Liverpool have won just 1 of their last 6 games in all competitions.

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez will be received well by both his own team's fans and Liverpool fans alike, for he gave Liverpool some good times in the past as we are all aware.

Newcastle had 3 back to back wins and then lost their last encounter when meeting up with Brighton, an unexpected dip in current form perhaps. but still they are performing well back in this top league.

This won't be a walk in the park for Klopp's side, and they will have to have their wits about them, Newcastle will be looking to take the points for sure, and any weakness in the reds defense will be exposed by the toon army and advantage taken. Tough enough nut for Liverpool to crack at a time when they can least afford to lose it. Close Encounter

Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds
1X2: AWAY
HT/FT: AWAY/AWAY
Over/Under: OVER
Correct Score : 1-2
The reasoning: In fourth place in the Championship standings, 7 points ahead of Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds come into the match with the better overall form. Leeds have the superior GD stats in both attack and defence. Theirs are 18:8 after 10 games played. Sheffield Wednesday have GD stats of 12:12. That seems to indicate a win for Leeds, and they (Leeds) did win both the home and away fixtures last season.

Newcastle v Liverpool
1X2: DRAW
HT/FT: DRAW/DRAW
Over/Under: OVER
Correct Score : 2-2
The reasoning: Until their away defeat to Brighton, Newcastle had posted three decent enough wins against Stoke, Swansea and West Ham. They won’t fear Liverpool. Although it was the 2015/2016 season, Newcastle won their home fixture and drew the away fixture against them. Liverpool only have 2 more points in the standings and although their GD stats of 12:11 from 6 games indicate that they find it easier to score goals, the defence can’t be overly trusted. Newcastle’s GD stats are a more tidy 6:5, but again, they also average conceding around the same amount of goals as they score. It seems to point towards a draw, and I’ll go for a high-scoring one.
